I've been hunting Q&As about this movie and I've seen Edgar have to tell the same stories dozens of times because he always gets asked the same stuff. This is new stuff! Good stuff! So I've been a fan of Edgar Wright since Shaun of the Dead back in 2004. After I saw Hot Fuzz I needed more so I watched Spaced and all his subsequent films. I never could put my finger on what made his work stand out so much but this interview has finally made me get it. His attention to detail is stunning. The idea behind how Baby gets all his iPods and sunglasses, color coding characters... I'm starting to think this man is a genius and I'm anxiously awaiting his next film.

Edgar Wright seems to be a pretty introverted guy after seeing this and a few other interviews. I would have liked to see a more energetic interviewer engage him, maybe a really passionate fan of Edgar.

I think his mood is defined by the other person's. He seems to be very good at matching the energy of whoever he's talking to, which can be very good when an interviewer is upbeat and energetic but when they have a more neutral personality he seems to emulate that as well.
