My dad owns a WRX. It really doesn't stick out too much from a distance, except for the giant wing on the back which is not on this car. It really just looks like a normal passenger car from a distance, and that's not even talking about when it's going 80 and maneuvering to avoid police, but it definitely drives like a sports car

Most of the stunts here were performed practically with the Impreza WRX. The majority of CGI was just hiding the stuntman on the roof, cameras, roll cages, etc. I like this scene because it's flashy but theoretically possible and not ridiculously over the top like a lot of car chase sequences
@troysweet40387 күн бұрын
1) as mentioned by the other commenter, most of thses stunts were done for real. 2) The car is in fact AWD, which is most clearly seen when he does the swithcback at 3:28. You can see the front tires spinning forwards, even while the vehicle is still traveling backwards. 3) Watch pretty much any Gymkhana video. Most of the cars used in those videos were AWD. RIP Ken Block.

@famlrnamemssngАй бұрын
Well the majority of cars you see on the streets in Atlanta are Japanese. Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, the list goes on. The reason they went with the Subaru WRX specifically was because they wanted a car that looked good on camera, but one that didn't stick out too much on the streets for the purposes of the getaway
