Off topic but you think in universe lethal company monsters would squabble with each other even if it doesn’t happen in game as in when there’s no people around? Example: An adult maneater attacking a thumper that’s wandered too close to its territory. Or A giant spider preying on weaker monsters like lootbugs. And uhh…Idk a jester just wandering around aimlessly.

for sure, i wish we got more interactions between entities in-game to make it feel more alive. the most we got right now is lootbug+maneater, and baboons+giant/dog

@@debit_card_debit I can see an interaction between a thumper and an adult man eater going like this- An adult maneater is feeding on a recent kill of a crewmate that was abandoned by there team as it was too risky to stay any longer. Meanwhile in another part of the facility a thumper is patrolling the halls when it picks up the scent of a carcass and decides to investigate. A short time later the man eater hears the thumper approaching and decides to use the darkness of the cave to its advantage. Soon our thumper has arrived and finds the carcass is already half eaten…Still better than nothing though. However it stops and much like its aquatic ancestors its sharp senses detect the presence of another creature. Now on high alert the Thumper keeps its senses locked on the aggressor. The man eater soon realizes that it has mostly lost the element of surprise as no matter where it moves to the intruder is able to detect its movement’s. Eventually both combatants meet face to face in a stare down… Both are well aware that they both pose a threat to one another and one wrong move could be fatal… The thumper knows if it fails to charge down the man eater that it most likely won’t be able to turn fast enough to attempt a counter attack leaving it vulnerable. The man eater knows that if the thumper manages to grip one of it’s limbs with there powerful jaws that it would severely cripple them and allowing the thumper the chance to land a fatal blow. …Both creatures continue to stare each other down… It’s a standoff…
