You seem to bless me everytime. It just so happens I was doing this baby for my December apple, for this one year old who was shot & killed in Richmond VA in October. I have been following this family and raised over $500+ to help her mom with anything she may have needed. So I told her I was doing a similar apple (just a little more hair for her pom-poms) to resemble her sleeping in her eternal bed since she will not be here for christmas (to continue helping her mother)but in glory with the lord (such a more wonderful place to be). Yes! It doesn't melt well at all! But for teaching purposes I use it to show the difference in chocolate which I will be doing a video on! Because I believe everyone needs to know what supplies are best to use and the quality makes a difference as well! But yes I add coconut oil to smooth it out

E C.J yes there's another alternative to melt chocolate you can do a double boiler where you put water in a pot and you can put a clear Bowl over the pot with the water put your chocolate inside that glass bowl and let the chocolate melt the pot should be on medium-high heat and taking a spatula or spoon and turn and flip your chocolate until completely melted you may want to add some Paramount crystals if your chocolate doesn't come off move enough and if you do not have or find Paramount crystals you could use vegetable shortening to add to your candy mixture and you may want to add one to two tablespoons of shortening or wanted 2 tablespoons of Paramount crystals
