@@GGSportsPodcast Yes, as long as he is given a chance. Up to now, our biggest problems have been coaches who themselves had no faith in their QBs. However, since you didn't ask, Ill give some more insight into my thoughts. I loved Zimmer, and he was on track to get us there, but with a kicker who choked he was delayed, but then the NFL changed coverage rules which destroyed Zimmer's Defensive schemes. His Defense relied heavily on a secondary that was physical. However, when they changed the rules, Zimmer's style of defense was finished. Next step was he failed to adjust to the fact that the NFL became all about points, which killed all strong defenses. yet he refused to open up his offense, so when he got Cousins he in essence did what the Vikings with Hershel Walker when they gave away the future for him. Instead of running his ass full forward, Old sourfaced Burns decided too run him around the end. Well, everyone knew the way to stop Walker was to turn him sideways, but the Vikings did it for the defenses and Walker was useless. Well, Zimmer decided to make Cousins a QB who managed a game instead of allowing him to open it up. JJ, should sit 2 years, but I understand that money is involved so all teams are forced to play QBs before they are ready. Yet, I think the Vikes should offer Bradford another 10 or 20 million to stick around another year, if he becomes as good as I believe he will. Then, like Rodgers JJ can sit back and get real ready. Because I can see Bradford being a dog with Kevin's offense. Don't be shocked if we win the NFC North, and become a number one seed. Then we will see if this kicker is worth hi weight in gold. We have all the pieces, because we had them last year. We just had major injuries to some of our main components . Cousins was on his way, and because we were indecisive he left. Well, We just need to do what grant did, put confidence in the QB, and once he shows he can do it, sit back and let him run the show with the scheme he is given.Worked with Tark, and it was working with Cousins, Bradford is more mobile, and so is JJ. So now it is just a matter of limiting the injuries. Which by the way, the Vikings need to stock up on offensive linemen, because the Dome is not good for them. All domes are bad for big guy's knees and backs, thus the reason we historically have problems with O-linemen since we moved indoors. If we never moved indoors, I believe the Vikings would have made it to more SB's, and maybe won a few even. As a rule, domed teams and championships do not mix well, and thus they should all have their roofs removed.
