So my step mom asked me to make several pairs of these for a charity booth she is doing this year. I am really glad that you not only have a pattern but a video as well. These are wonderful!

Thank you so much for this pattern. And at last an easy sole that sits flat & looks neat! A real bonus. I've completed one using a double a sole as I'd started watching your other sandle tutorial then lost it while searching for the sole pattern, then found this one.I hope its ok to work this one with a double sole, it looks good! Thank you again! Extremely happy about finding this sole! And fab design! Well done you!

Very cute and simple pattern to follow. Like you, I tried a different approach to the tire strap after following your written pattern. It just didn't look like to pic. I also ended up crocheting the body backwards (this was before watching the video) as I found the middle of the heel with the heel on the top (where you show the heel on the bottom) thanks for sharing!

I just finished my first pair of these in pink camo and gray heather....now I'm making a hot pink and gray pair! I used medium worsted weight yarn so I had a little trouble doing the single crochet under the slip stitches, but I'm eager to make more!!! I have the correct kind of yarn in purple and black so I'm going to make a pair in those colors also to see if that helps with the issue that I had. Thanks for an awesome tutorial it was so easy to follow!!!!

Hi love the sandals - made 2 so far - 1 newborn and the 3 - 6 months for my granddaughter due in May. Videos are very helpful for a newbie! Haven't crocheted in 29 years. But I noticed in the video the 3 - 6 month for the toe strap you start out with chain 4 - in the written all the toe straps start chain 3. Just letting you know! :)

So I'm making these for my friend's daughter and got confused about something so I came to watch the video. (Not an error in your pattern, just in my understanding. :P ) So my toddler looked at the video I'm watching and said, "She's crocheting! You're not." lol Thanks, kid. Anyway, no real point to that comment, just amused me. Though I think it was funnier to hear him say than to read. But anyway, thanks so much for the pattern! Love it! And several of your other patterns. Making another pair for my friend's daughter (the Mary Janes--they're already done, actually, in white with purple dots) and then I'm going to do the boat shoes for my nephew. :)

Hi Bethany! Thank you for this video! You have no idea how many times I have watched it :) I went through as many comments as my patience would allow me but I didn't find a full answer to this question. I need to make a 9-12 size and from what I could gather you don't have a specific pattern for this. It looks like I could either (or both) 1) use a bigger hook 2) just add a few more chain stitches to start it off and then add a few more outside edges to make it larger. Does that sound right? Thank you in advance! I love these patterns!
@stephanielane84799 жыл бұрын
***** Fantastic. I will try. Thanks so much for the quick reply! One more question - how do you end off to ensure the ends don't fray? I was having problems with this and I watched a video stating you could lightly burn the ends which I tried and it worked OK. Just wondering how you do it. I did ravel them back and forth through other stitches but I was still ending with a frayed end so just curious how you do it. Thanks again!
