You do understand that a baby that is born deaf has no ability to respond to “sound of the parents’ voice.” Cochlear implants do nothing but provide a digital equivalency of the hearing world. Before the implants the baby’s brain is literally lacking to function that equates familiar sounds to safety. While yes, those sound waves will be comforting to the baby but it’s not for any reason that has to do with one’s sense of hearing alone and not for just those reasons covered by sound.

@@privaterizk4936 I'm not saying that, imagine a baby born deaf, and first thing they fully hear after their parents is their screaming, there are videos of babies screaming and being even more terrified by their screams by the exoressions they make or them sounding much more panicked/afraid. That sounds horrifying and very overwhelming, much more overwhelming than hearing mom or dad. I just hate seeing when they panic and scream after hearing for the first time. It's amazing and they need it, I understand that, but it just must be so horrifying when they react like that

This is very heartwarming. I have a friend who is deaf but can hear well with both hearing aids and also talk very well. Whenever I see him, I always compliment him on how far he came in his life. From what I saw of it, it wasn't easy for him but as he got more involved in school he was noticed for his kindness and effort on other people (Just something to relate to and share) No matter what condition or disorder a person has, they're made in the image of God just the way they are. They stand out by what they look like.
