Is this mom's first baby? Normally you would expect protective behavior. Does mom know this is her baby? I saw once with a young rejected foal they covered it in mom's pee first, then smeared mom's poo over it so mom would accept it and it worked. Worried for this baby. This staff member is so wonderful and caring with this baby. I am wondering what the problem is with mom?
