Sharing a look into decorating the nursery for baby girl who will be here next month! And, as a bonus I also shared a look into my son's new "big boy" toddler room, since we moved him out of the nursery and into his big room.
We didn't necessarily have a "theme" or anything when decorating. But I walk you through my decorating process and how I picked things for the nursery. I'm also just sharing a few little must-have items I loved from planning a nursery the second time around.

Very cute! My daughter has a pink and white room with an accent wall that is striped. I love my son's room but my daughter's room is just did extra cute and special. Congrats on having a boy and a girl, it really is so wonderful to have both 🤗😊😍

Both rooms look awesome! I like the changing table/dresser in baby girls room, plenty of storage & the handle straps really go with the room. Never used a doc-a-tot before, but I love that you practice safe sleeping. I had a trundle when I shared a room with my sister as a youngster, definitely a space saver. The org chair really does match with the blue in that rug. Thanks for sharing. ♥️

I LOVE these! I’m ready for my girls to be combined so I can do the bedrooms over again. It’s been 5y since we did our oldest daughters room and soon we’ll combine her and our infant. Right now the baby is in the old nursery our son lived in and he’ll have his own boy room again. I LOVE making the rooms personal, this was an awesome watch.

I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THE RUG INFO! You said it's great for a kids room... It will also be amazing for someone who does does dog rescue and/or senior dog adoptions! My Mom's rug while growing up would have to be replaced way too often due to the above for mentioned reasons. I never thought I could have a rug in my home, but now I know I can! Thank you! For the high spot in Miles' room, you could put cutout letters "Big Brother" or "Big Brother Lives Here" or something like that. 😍

Love both rooms! Besides Lady Llama, my favorite parts are your 'push present' throw and then the entire end of Miles room with the color wall. I think the color of the rocking chair is what makes it!

We have that diaper pale and LOVE it. It's small so fits well in a small space, but we don't have to change it every day like you do with a diaper genie. We also feel like we can use it later on just for a trashcan in her room when she's older

I like the half pink wall. We did both of my girls rooms in pink and it is a little overwhelming. I think the white brings a little more brightness to the room. May be something I need to look into for their rooms. The room looks beautiful!

I love the look of both rooms. You've done a fantastic job. The rug you now have in baby girl's room is so pretty with the blue and pink and you chose a wonderful color for the walls. It's adorable. With things like the clear bins you have up high, I insert a piece of card stock/scrapbook paper, or I cover a piece of cardboard in wallpaper or wrapping paper etc and slip down the side of the bin that faces out. It looks so nice and hides the contents.

Loved little girl room Beautiful. I would suggest for Miles blank space that you use your creativity and put "Miles Reading Corner" in Sign or Block Letters. With a new baby on the scene a reinforcement of his area would be so special. Reading to him in his corner is just perfect Just a grandmothers though

The nursery looks great... Maybe get a small wicker basket for on top of the changing table for the little bits like 1-2 nappies, butt paste, etc... So they are to hand before you start to change baby makes use of the extra little bit of space and saves looking in drawers for things with a baby 😊❤️
