The ceiling rose near the window is an old privacy/modesty thing. Instead of the light being in the middle of the room they were beside the window to prevent people outside being able to see shadows of you moving around your room. The room is perfect x

Such a stunning space. So beautiful. I had a very bright bedroom, when i was a tad older, I had a yellow room with a large rainbow mural on the wall. Then i had a deep purple room. then when i was teenage i went white. Congrats as well!
