Baby Golden Lion Tamarin Monkey Loves Playing and Learning How to Climb

Baby golden lion tamarin monkey loves playing and learning how to climb at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence, Rhode Island. 1 1/2 month old "Leopold" keeps mom and dad busy in their rainforest habitat with his active adventures playing and improving his climbing skills. They give him space to learn, but swoop in if they see danger or trouble looming. Although still endangered, golden lion tamarins have rebounded since the 1970s when there were only 200 left in the wild. Today, through conservation efforts there are around 2,500 in the wild and 500 in zoos.

That little baby face is precious! Leopold is the sweetest little baby. He's the apple of his mom and dad's eye. So nice to see his mom and dad are good parents. Thank you for the video, it made my heart melt. 😍🐒❤️
