I love this dad and daughter... you can tell how much he loves his baby girl... what a remarkable thing. It proves a bond between a daddy and his littel girl no matter what species, is unbreakable.... a bond is a bond....🧿💖🤗💞🙏

Actually, most species don't care for their young. Many care for their eggs, but the babies are on their own after they hatch. Out of the species that do care for their young, a father may not typically be involved. But gorillas are certainly species in which fathers typically care for their children.

@@trepaidousis670 - Maybe you're only thinking about mammals? I don't know what to tell ya. Out of all animal species, most don't care for their young at all. Out of the ones that do, the father typically isn't involved in many cases. But in some cases, child care falls on the father exclusively. But again, we're talking about gorillas here, and gorilla fathers are typically involved.

Yes, it takes almost a month, Thandie was born at the end of November and Kintaro on December 19. They would be great friends and play until they were defeated by fatigue

Yes it's mom at first ;). Indeed, but it is very special she allowes thandie to play with dad. If the other ladies in the group go near Thandie she already picks her up. Although it's short, sometimes she gets to play a bit longer with dad, it stays very special. And haha yes she likes to play with her daughter also ;p.

I only got the chance to film the 10 seconds, it doesn't mean he only gets to play 10sec ;). And it is already very special mom let's Thandie play with dad, although it's short. But ofc thats also because he is extremely gentle with her and that's so special. I haven't seen it before, a silverback playing so gentle with a kid so young ;). So very special already, although it's only for a short amount of time.

Mayani is one of the sweetest mothers. You really don't have to worry about little Thandie. Mayani just played with thandie. And she held her upside down for a few seconds in the play. If you've seen the rest of the video, you also must have seen her help Thandie climb. Thandie is being taken very good care of by mum at least ;).
