BABY GORILLA TWO WEEKS OLD

A new family to introduce. This family lives in Gaia Zoo (NL) Kerkrade.
Mothers name is Tamidol and fathers name is Lomako. Lomako is a first time daddy. The baby was born on the 9th of April 2024.
The family has 8 members and they live together with black crested mangabeys.

Dalila (grandmother of Kiango, mother of Gyasi)
Tamidol

Lomako (silverback)
Loango
Mosi
Baby's gender isn't official yet and also hasn't got a name yet.
I hope to visit this family more this year. But as in this moment I'm 35 weeks pregnant and the 1,5 drive isn't responsible for the upcoming weeks. So I hope you'll enjoy this video and the a few more the next weeks!

Isn't Baby Doll Kibabu's mom, she died recently?

@@sonjavandam1306 I had to double check in the databases they have online; but yes, in fact she is. Tamidol and Kibabu are maternal half-siblings, so she's the aunt to Haoko and Shabani and their kids. Baby Doll and Kibabu both apparently died a few months apart back in 2018.

All I knew of Tamidol is she is related to Momotaro. His fathers sister I think. It’s always great news when a baby is safely brought into the world! Thank you and look forward to future videos🙂

She is doing good! She doesn't come to feeding presentations anymore, she just knows she will get her food lol. When the sun shines she will be found sunbathing outside. It is such a lovely old lady. Hope to film her a bit more next time ;)!
