Honestly what is this? If you want to call your kid something 100% different from their given name, then just name them that! Where the eff do you get Laurel from Aurelia? Valerie and Vera are also two completely different names. A nickname for Valerie would be Val. People need to also keep in mind that they are naming a future adult... not just a little baby. Don't make your kids life so confusing and hard. That doesn't mean you can't name them something less common, but for goodness sake, don't name your kid something with weird spelling or with the intention to not even call them by their name.

These are such unique names. I honestly loved them all! I know when I was pregnant ppl had negative reactions to potential names. I honestly would make up a sheet of names and my hubby would like 3 but that's ok. MY baby, My choice. I ended up with Timothy Shane, Cameron Isaiah, and Landon Elijah so, they aren't that unique but again, my hubby is alot more traditional than I am.
