Yes recently when I traveled in qatar airways with my 2years old daughter, they give same food what they give to all. We opted for Asian hindu veg meal and hindu nonveg meal. For our daughter we took Asian veg meal she ate the same. For infants they provide only what I have showed in this video, it will be veg.

Do they allow to carry outside food for babies and cerelac which you showed was it good i mean at home we prepare and immediately we feed the baby so i just wanna know did your baby liked it i am also planning to travel my mid of august alone with baby so worried a lot

Yes they will allow any food the baby eats. The gerber Multigrains bottle which I showed in video, that is what I fed my baby, so she eats it well. If you want me to answer any other questions you can.. I will be happy to answer. Take care.

No I don't think they restrict. Look like whoever books it first will get it. You try to book if you get that seat then ofcourse that seat will be yours. Coz while traveling from doha to blore we also did not get bassinet seat as it was already reserved by others. So we traveled in back seats which was not so comfortable with baby.

Book the ticket and select bassinet seat. Even then if it's not available then it must be filled by someone else. Just call to Qatar airways once and ask. I don't think the staff will help in getting bassinet seat. But if u r lucky and if bassinet seat is empty then they may offer u that seat. We also did not get bassinet seat from Doha to India.

As per qatar websit www.qatarairways.com/en-us/family/child-fares-baggage.html - One stroller, collapsible carrycot, or pushchair per infant is accepted without charge. Not sure about carseat and stroller. That is why we just took a small foldable stroller for easy handling. We gave the stroller to crew while boarding. You can collect it only in final destination in baggage claim area. You can call to qatar customer care and check if they allow the usual carseat and stroller without charge.

Hello, my wife and my five months old, and I are planning to travel from the US to Nepal via Qatar Airways. So, how to book the bassinet seat? Some say that it's first come, first serve. Select quickly the bassinet seat while booking the flight, if there is infant you will get options to select bassinet seat or else it won't give you that option. Yes it is first come first serve. We booked ticket ourselves through the qatar website. We did not pay anything extra, but in general for infant we have to pay some percentage of ticket amount whether you get bassinet or not. You can carry any baby food. It's allowed.. inform them it's for baby. Hot water they will give in flight but are you are okay to give that water to baby. Better to use packed water bottles.

Qatar airways leg space is good. And when it comes to food it's good, but while booking tickets mention if you need any special meals like Asian vegetarian meal or hindu nonveg meal, if not you should have to eat whatever they give. This happened with us in recent travel too as we forgot to order special meals.

I personally feel yes , if we make up our mind.. we can definitely do it. Your wife should be able to manage. Flight crew will also help if needed. Tell her call them when she wants help. Is there layover in between?

Hi ,I am planning to book the bassinet front seats for my old parents as they wanted extra legroom space for flight from India to US.I have 2 questions:1) Did you pay extra 11k for paid bassinet seat ,2)will the tv screen for bassinet screen be in the front on the wall ?Can we change the tv screen channels or we cannot?I am worried as my dad wanted to know how he would pass time in long hour flight to US if TV screen is not provided?Your help is much appreciated!

I did not pay extra for bassinet seat for us. Only they take some percent of amount (ticket fee) for baby to travel in flight Nothing extra.

Hi dear, I am good thank you. I traveled from Atlanta to doha , doha to Bangalore thru qatar airways. I took stroller, while giving check-in bag,, they put check-in tag for stroller too. But they take stroller during boarding your first flight and gave back only in the last stop. That is you will collect stroller during Baggage claim. In between stops they don't give stroller to u. I did not see anyone having Collapsible wagon during boarding, I saw people with baby stroller that was bit larger and usual one which we use for babies. Hope that answers your question.

Water for babies is allowed in reasonable quantities in carry-on bags. Remove this item from your carry-on bag to be screened separately from the rest of your belongings. Better take warm water in a water bottle. Not in a Flask coz it will increase your luggage weight.
