I tried solids at 6 months with my son after all the readiness signs and he haaaaated it haha!! He didn’t learn to love it until 8 months old. Tommy is so adorable! He is growing so fast ❤️

WHO advise not to give solids till 6 months. I had a course for baby feeding and nutritions before I started with solids and they explained us why is that. I

I started mine at 6m with vegetables like green beans, pea, butternut squash... my lo will be 1year old in less than 2 weeks and LOVES his veggies.

I loved how Jackson had his mouth open when feeding Tommy, so cute! :) I think the vegetables are the grossest baby food, the fruits are pretty good. The last baby I had in my Home Daycare, his Mom made baby food so I made some for him for when he was with me.. it's fun to make baby food! :) His Mom said "Isn't it fun?" I said "Yeah, it actually is fun!" :) :) Just sharing, not saying you need to or should make your own. :)

Christmas is going to be short this year as my family spends another year in this hotel (In town Suites). Raisinglittles i waa given solids at 3 months and i turned out fine!!! just take your time with it and nothing too big or thick and nothing too rich in flavor and they will be just fine. plus hes over 5 months anyway so its not much before hes 6 months

You should do the baby food challenge and the baby diper challenge where you take candy or chocolate and melt them in the microwave in a diaper to make it look like poo then you put a few options out in the table and the kids have to smell the candy poo and guess witch candy it is. If they get it correct they get to eat a piece of that candy

My boy took a bit of time to master food so by 7 1/2 months he wanted three meals a day just like we do breakfast lunch and dinner. Before that, at 6 1/2 I did oatmeal with him. I do make my own baby food but it is a lot chunkier now and I mix it with stuff he that we do eat that evening for dinner. Don't worry if he doesn't take food now as he well when he is ready.
