It can be scary! Purees will be super easy and a great start, try introducing a lot of flavors to get their pallett ready, then add a few lumps until they move onto the next stage!

Great question! If you think your baby is doing great with purees, start adding more chunky purees to thier diet. Keep some lumps and see how they do. Then you can start longer soft pieces of food such as avocados, or longer pieces of bananas. Just keep an eye on them and see how they do!

The easiest foods to make for purees are something you can easily mash or put in a blender. A mix of yogurt, fruit, and milk is always a great start and will have a lot of flavor. I do a strawberry, banana, yogurt smoothie and put it in a squeezable pouch for her to enjoy and she loves it!

As my doctor once said, babies don't know what they don't like! So keep having them try everything. If your baby doesn't like something or pushes the food away, don't eliminate it from their diet, after trying other things, incorporate it a few times to get them used to the flavor.
