Visiting the grave of baby Sally McCoy, the forbidden child born between the children of the clan leaders in 1881. Also Aunt Bettys and Uncle Uriah's house where she stayed while pregnant and their graves. A tragic story indeed.

The way I see it is Johnse Hatfield was the only person in the wrong. Roseanna McCoy was a young mother abandoned. God created women to be mothers and men to see that the mothers and children are taken care of. Both sides had an interest in little Sally, and Aunt Betty and her family were probably overlooked for that reason. Children should always be off limits in all types of violence including war. Thanks Leo for climbing those hills to bring that sad but beautiful story to us!

I wonder why Sally Betty & Roseanna are all buried in different cemeteries. I presume that Roseanna's parents buried her. I think it's awful they did not bury her with Sally. I couldn't do that to my child or grandchild. I'm with Betty. Family takes care of family no matter the circumstances.

Leo, you have visited this house before that includes a cemetery. This is a fascinating story yet so sad. It is so sad that Roseanne was separated from her baby. Did Sally have the last name of McCoy? Just wanted you to know that I just returned from a trip through Williamson. Your video on Dingess and the scenery of Williamson encouraged me to travel to these unique places. Like to never found the Dingess Tunnel, but finally reached it, drove through it, and took pictures. Now, I truly love Williamson. On the way to Dingess, I met a direct descendant of Devil Hatfield. I mentioned your channel and how you and Heather have been sharing the history of the Hatfields and McCoys. Based on how he responded, I don't believe he too computer savvy. Take your time climbing those steps Leo., I just love how you and Heather are doing all of this research. It is just awesome.

Wow, such tragedy but a somber reality that it doesn't take much for any of us to do good in bad times no matter what the circumstances are. I believe that we could learn a lesson from Aunt Betty on this one and remember no matter what as long as we have the right intentions and a good heart we can help even in bad times and show positivity. I also know how Rosananna felt I lost my baby in 94 the date of her death is on 8-18 I woke up crying this morning because I had a reminder about her death date.

Dying of a broken heart can't be scientifically proven although it has always been and continues to be a medically supported diagnosis for those who grieve themselves to death. It may take a few months or a few years but once you start hoping and praying you die in order to join a loved one your body starts to give out. The mind can convince the body of anything.

Thanks Leo for going the distance up the hill to show us the baby's grave. Thanks Heather for your research. I know there's several heartbreaking things about this fued, but this has to be one of the saddedt. Maybe just because its a baby and Roseanna wasn't that old. She was actually a very pretty young lady. No guarantees that if Johnse and Roseanna had gotten married that the baby would have lived. I really enjoy yall's stories concerning this fued and all the back stories. This fued really was such a stupid turn of events. I understand the "family honor" of avenging the family name, but this one went nuts. God bless you guys for all your hard work, your time and resources to put these videos fir our enjoyment. Ya'll stay safe on your travels to these locations.

it not ironic that Aunt Betty only has a gravestone along with her husband, but the main participants that were bent on killing each other have streets and museums named after them, and ironically the hatfield-mccoy trail system, but the peacemakers have nothing other than a grave marker,, makes you kind of wonder about the morality of the whole country, but then again from a financial point of view the violent history of the area attracts the tourist dollars. Along with a breathtaking countryside frankly And over look tourist Mecca,

Sounds like BHS, aka Broken Heart Syndrome. It's a very real condition. I lost a 23 year old daughter December 2017. I was diagnosed at the end of December that year. It flared up a couple weeks ago when our special needs kitten passed away in my arms. No one locally wanted her because she was born with one eye and a deformed front right leg. I treasured her so much. This babyyou are talking about was an innocent little one. Babies don't ask to be born.
