I just love these little 💓 babies so much! My God to all you volunteers, Dave and everyone there, God bless all of you for all your hard work, commitment, kindness and love that you all put into helping these babies so much! I absolutely love watching the videos and following along to when the babies meet their moms and then get released into their troops! Well done everyone!

Dave, this is such a good video. Thank you for providing an environment where orphaned babies are giving a second chance. It’s really easy to fall in love with the babies and when one immediately takes to a mom it’s a moment of bliss. These babies are traumatized, usually having seen their mother killed. Thank you for all you and your employees and volunteers do to save these precious little creatures...and for the good feels you give your viewers.

Wow Dave, this was a great episode. I loved watching Satchmo and Terk running around, jumping and wrestling. They are such characters and had so much fun. Rox is a real trooper with everything he has gone through. Meka will hopefully make that final commitment to the wild. I had no idea you had to choose lower level monkeys as part of the integration. It makes total sense. Epic work by all and thanks for continuing with this Dave.

Hello they look skinny do they eat much and they beautiful Monkeys may God continue to be with them and you all two
@loristone88604 жыл бұрын
Louise Bookman They aren’t skinny, this is their natural body type. I believe they are fed a properly balanced selection of foods that correlates to what they would encounter in the wild. For example, they are given a selection of natural grasses in addition to local fruits and vegetables. In previous seasons they showed the food preparation areas and talked about their diet.

Hee hee 🤣 so fun in Loveland! This foster mom program is so heartwarming! Their know how, giving the youngster time is amazing!!! Bringing in the older one, the one that was a pet... do you know how it’s determined where their place in a hierarchy will be?

👋🏼 Hi, new subscriber here! Love ur videos and what u do for the wild nature! Question: it’s my understanding that you have fully functioning, normal troops; how do foster moms don’t get babies of their own? Thank you for answering the question and everything you do!

Is it right, that the foster mothers care of the babies well, give them love but NO milk...?
@VervetMonkey3 жыл бұрын
correct - we have to teach them to find milk from a special feeding cage
@lisadibbern42684 жыл бұрын
Do you release them back to the wild?
@VervetMonkey4 жыл бұрын
Hi Lisa - everything is done in away that they can be released back to the wild as a safe oppertunity arises, they get intergrated into large soft release natural enclosures with beauiful trees, grass and bugs

Dave, what can people do about the videos that are being made probably in Vietnam or Cambodia…..the videographers are torturing and taunting the mom monkeys to get violent toward their babies. Is there anything that can be done?
@VervetMonkey2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately its a picture of the society we live in and as long as there is a demand it wont stop, the best way is for people to stop waching
@vickiaverett27442 жыл бұрын
@@VervetMonkey Thanks for your reply. I really appreciate what everyone does for the Vervet Foundation. It’s so heartwarming and definitely creates feelings of peace. I feel peace watching the little guys get foster moms because those monkeys feel peace. It’s one of the greatest things to watch that transition from fright and sadness to contentment with the workers and then complete peace when they get a mom! (I’m 61 and I come from a very difficult background…..when your episodes end I always say….I Want A Mom! A Loving Mom!). I receive a bit of healing too!

I have got to ask you all something. I was watching Simba the Lion where he was being taken back to Africa and in it they were uniting him with a female. They showed the workers and I did a double take. Tell me isn't this one on the left Tori? She is older than I thought cause this is 2014 but cool to have done Simba. Go to 2:24 on this video and tell me. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p3mzZ4ygps6caJY
