I hope the turtle made it eventually. You did a great job helping him. The alleyways you took to go to the main road are like a maze. The D'Mall is actually an entrance to the beach. You probably figured that out the next day. Anyway, thanks for taking us with you in your adventures.

I would not recommend drinking the service water. Always bring bottled water with you in small islands like Boracay. Learned the hard way when my foreign friend had a stomach bug after our first night there. We think it was the service water.

There is a conservationist group that takes care of these turtles, there in Boracay, their advice is to not interfere with them let them go to the sea on their own, they were layed and hatched on the beach, if you are interested ask around youll see dozens of turtle eggs being gathered and taken care of until they hatched.

Once upon a time, boracay was known as best beach in the world. That was before it was commercialized. Right now, it is infested with tourists, garbage everywhere, turtle couldnt find safe nest anymore. Boracay is no longer that paradise it used to be.
