For reals! It makes me so happy to see people have such beautiful and fun baby showers, it helps me forget how horrible mine was for my first child so much so that I refused to have one for my second! For my first child the person planning the baby shower wound up bailing financially and I wound up paying for it myself, I invited 20 people friends and family and only 12 people came after they all rsvp that they would come and 4 of them left after 20 minutes to go halloween party in downtown. I cooked everything and even ordered pizza so people would feel obligated to eat what i cooked ( it was mostly vegetarian), then to top it off I was yelled at by the person “planning” it because she had a schedule of her own apparently over something I had no control over, especially because I didn’t have a car yet at the time. But what hurt the most is that people messaged me that the reason they couldn’t come was because they were either sick or at work, but later that night they posted pictures of themselves at that Halloween party and they were there all day, that’s what hurt the dishonesty. Especially the ones that were family. And being 37 weeks pregnant, hormonal, with my husband away on deployment, feelings were definitely hurt! I cut people out of my life then and swore to myself that I would never put myself through that again and I’ve kept my word. My second just turned 1 last week, watching them have share all these beautiful moments makes me cry happy tears!

As a mom who lost her son at 16 days old due to malpractice (I can’t say more as we have a lawsuit again the hospital), the owlet has SAVED MY LIFE with my newborn. He’s 6 weeks old and he always has it on! It works amazing! I highly recommend it, especially to moms who have experienced any loss. Congratulations to you both! Can’t wait to see her! 🌈 We lost our son 01/15/20 btw. He was born in New Years Eve 2019! 👼

Those boxes you got some of the gifts in are great to use for keepsake boxes. We saved our and have been been stuffing them with important things. We save our kids hospital bracelets, their first pacifier, sonogram pics, their baptism outfits. Really anything you find important. :)

It’s so funny cuz first time moms/parents end up not using over half the stuff they get/buy! We all do it tho lol but the more kids you have you realize what you will use and what you won’t lol I promise you she won’t wear all her cute little outfits unless you change them like 3x a day! Lol♥️

When I had my one and only baby shower last year it was during the beginning of the pandemic, my boyfriend was deployed and alot of people were freaked out due to this new virus and just very few people showed up and left quick, so My baby didn’t receive as much gifts. But seeing Karina open lots of beautiful gifts next to Raul just made my heart feel warm & I felt complete. Congratulations to you both, You deserve it! We all can’t wait to meet Baby Girl Aguilar 💕
