Absolutely! Pumping is just another form of breastfeeding😊 I've exclusively pumped for both my daughters for collectively 1.5+ year. I start out nursing and switch over. Hey Nitra! As a fellow mom I can tell you that the Boppy is so amazing! I didn't have one with my daughter, but had 2 with the twins. They used them until they were almost 3 years old. Also, I started off exclusively nursing all of my babies, but after about a month (to prevent nipple confusion) I started pumping and using bottles so dad could help with feedings. The bath sling is a lifesaver also because they are so little and slippery, the sling provides great support. Last but not least, sleep sacks are a lifesaver as well. Hope I didn't bombard you with too much, but I remember what it was like being a first time mom. Congrats and many blessings to you and Colton. P.S., you are the reason I was addicted to AMI Clubwear shoes, lol.

that dr.brown pacifier with the turtle is my sons favorite. hes used it since the day he was born. he is now 3 months and now when he gets nervous around a lot of people he pets the turtle😂 or when he puts him self to sleep he holds it with one hand and pets it with the other. love it

I used receiving blankets for everything lol. Swaddling, laying him down on them to change his diaper (especially while out and about), cleaning up messes, covering up while breastfeeding if I didn't have my main cover, used them as a light blanket if it wasn't too cold. The uses are endless! I have like 20-30 of them lol

hey nitra! a tip for all those receiving blankets..... I used them as burp cloths, put them down when I was changing my kids even if I had a changing pad cover. it just made it easier in case they had a 💩 explosion lol. or if I was laying them on the bed, nippy or play mat for tummy time I would lay that down on top just in case they spit up it would be on the blanket. it seemed easier to clean. just some helpful hints 😊 also one thing u should look into is pacifier clips. they have them everywhere. so you don't loose the pacifier. I'm so happy for you and Colton! congrats again ❤

Pampers sensitive wipes are the best. I've work in a nursery for years and pampers are so nice! The huggies wipes are so dry and rub them raw

Mom to mom, use the packaged diapers before you use the boxes ones. He might grow out of a size nb & super fast and you can exchange them for a different size.

Aww... I love the pampers brand wipes! They are so moist, Huggies brand ALWAYS seems to be dry and tear every time we use them like literally little shreds at a time. It gets annoying when your in a rush to grab a wipe for baby.

The Sleepy time wash is wonderful.... I always washed my babies with that at bed time and would give the baby a massage all over their body with the same lotion after and then dress tgem and swaddle them give them their bottle abd they always went right to sleep and wouldn't here a peep out of them, because they were so calm and relaxed! plus it smells so good! I can't wait to see the little bundle of joy! I watch all your videos abd have followed your whole pregnancy! So excited! Also can you do some P.O. unboxing. Loved it all! you guys will use everything. we also loved our shopping cart cover, our swing and a baby carrier of some type like a Moby Wrap. oh and also the waterproof pads... they came in handy on the changing table and on the bed and I will keep a couple in the diaper bag just in case I needed to lay my baby down somewhere and didn't want to risk having an accident

Loved this video !! Baby showers are awesome !! I remember with our son we didn't expect all the things he was blessed with . And my mom being the old school Jamaican lol she got a wishing well for the shower and people dropped money and gift cards that I didn't see till we got home. We were living in a brownstone downtown Brooklyn and we were like where the heck are all these things gonna go lol. We aren't doing a shower with our daughter now, but I love watching these vlogs !!. I don't see anything wrong with pumping and bottle feeding and breast feeding did it with my son and I was worried about nipple confusion but we used the Tommee tippee bottles and they worked wonderful. I'll be breast feeding again and once I'm off leave I'll pump for her like I did for my son and have the grand parents feed her with the bottle till my husband and I return. Luckily I work half a day and I do paper work the rest of the day so I won't be gone for to long, so hard leaving your baby :-( . My baby is 3 weeks old and I both pump and nurse her. Trust me, doing both with save you from alot of stress. With pumped milk, your husband will be able to help you at night when you need to rest. The sooner you introduce the bottle and alternate, the more inclined he will be to feeding from it. Absolutely love your channel, you are such a lady.

Omg loved it!! Don't worry about the amount of newborn diapers , newborns go through a lot of diapers and clothes and bibs ! And I used my receiving blankets as burp cloths also because my son spit up a lot and that covers more of a area than burp cloths lol. My son was also in newborn clothes for a while he came out weighing about 7 pounds .

You can use baby wipes well beyond baby stages. I use them when I go out in public, a friend of mine uses them to clean her house, I also use them to clean my house. They are so much more sanitary then using a rag or towel to clean

That little bath sling thing saved me! Lol I did have two tubs but they were too big and as a first time mom it was hard to hold the baby and wash him at the same time! So I did put that into one of the tubs and my son did so well and it helped him stay up and allowed me to bath him!:))

Those white cloud diapers are THE BEST! my son used to use honest diapers but it gave him a rash to the point that we had to put burn victim cream on him so we switched him to white cloud and never had a problem like that ever again.

I love the baby magic wash it smells so much better than the Johnson's one ! Definitely take back the second box of nb diapers, my son was 9 lbs and used a small 10$ bag for about a week and then moved to size 1 and went to size 2 just before 2 months old and he's been in size 2 for a while now

Hey Nitraa when you before washing the socks use safety pins keep them to together! So make sure you have plenty of safety pins. It really helps to keep the socks from getting lost. You also do yours and Colton's socks the same way before throwing them in the washer.

I Love the haul and the fact you got just enough. Most of all that he got a good bit a toys, the only over kill that you could never have enough of is WIPES, PAMPERS, BOTTLES, NIPPLES, PACIFIERS, DREFT (Tide, All, Honest etc....mostly in a white bottle), BIBS. Hey even though you planning to breast feed Colten (sorry, sorry if I messed up on your name) can't so you have no choice but to use a bottle, so its okay that you use both. The secret to that success is pick a nipple that is shape like yours. Im so happy that your pregnancy is really stress free and yall got to enjoy it. Im glad that I got to see yall journey love yall. Of course every baby is different but my daughter preferred bibdanas and not bibs, especially when she was teething! We also barely used receiving blankets, burp clothes, socks she hated having them on and the pants with the socks built in. Also invest in some pacifier clips! They will save you haha and those nose suckers don't work haha get yourself a nose Frieda! And make sure you password protect that monitor because sometimes they get hacked into and people can talk and watch your baby without you knowing it!! 😬

One thing, Anitra, I've been reading and watching documentaries regarding flouride... just wanted to share because I believe I made the mistake with my son because I thought it was the way to go, but be sure that when you buy the banybwaters, for whatever reason, you do NOT get the ones with the added flouride. they said that too much is harmful for brain and development.

Nitra, when I had my son I exclusively breastfed and after a few months I tried to pump and give him a bottle and he would not take it for a long time. It may be easier if you gave him a bottle every once in a while the whole time so he won't be fussy about it. But whatever works for you and the baby is best. I'm not trying to push advice on you or anything. Just wish someone would've told me that he wasn't going to want a bottle if I didn't keep giving him one for a few months.

NitraaB TV they make bottles that are similar to a woman's nipple and similar to the flow of breastfeeding. I liked those because the faster flow ones would make him choke and spit up.

My baby is three months and it's soo hard keeping up with those tiny socks! Quick tip, you can safety pin his socks together so you won't lose them! I even wash my sons socks with the safety pin on them.

You won't need to prop with the 4moms tub. That's what I use with my baby. Just lay him down in the tub and he will be fine.

NitraaB TV yep I thought I wouldn't like it but that's still my fav tub for my daughter. She's 9 months, 10 months on the 30th of this month (omg time is flying on by) and I still use it. I use it in the kitchen sink too lol. I love the temperature monitor as well. I'm a new mommy as well so you'll definitely learn what you like and what works for you. So excited for you and your family!

I do think you should try EBF until he's a month... just so he has no confusion and so you get comfortable and use to it. I'm EBF and she's 7 months old now, she's only had a bottle about 3 times, you have to be determined and willing to sacrifice a few things during breastfeeding! And we have that bath tub sitting up thing! It works great!! 😘😘😘
