Fwiw, in the original Smurf comics the Baby Smurf wins the hearts of all the adult Smurfs in the village, even the crustiest and most obnoxious. They find him annoying for his constant demands but they don't hate him for it, or hurt him. It's meant to teach kids what will happen when they grow up and have their own baby. This story just takes the entire idea of keeping babies sheltered and safe and throws it down the shitter. Who would make this AU? It's a world created solely to enable the torture of blue cartoon gnome infants.

@@clubdoompsx Oh yeah! Great episode. There was a fly that bit Lazy on the tail, which caused him to turn purple, hop around, and the only thing he could say was "G'nap!" (For some reason). He was also compelled to bite any other Smurfs he saw, turning them into what he was. The story was basically Papa Smurf and a handful of others racing to find a cure before they were all infected.
