Baby Surprises Daddy With His 1st Wheelchair

Baby Thomas was expected to be stillborn or only live a short while after birth. He was diagnosed with a lethal form of Osteogenisis Imperfecta (also known as Birttle Bones Disease). The rare genetic mutation has also caused Baby Thomas to have dwarfism. His milestone's have surprised us all! He breaks a bone on average about once or twice a month. Baby Thomas is on a trach and ventilator to help him breathe but is expected to be able to breathe on his own as he gets older. His genetic mutation has caused his bones to be so fragile that he has not been able to rollover, walk, or crawl yet. Baby Thomas is 16 months old, weighing only 12 lbs and experienced his first time of independence in his new power chair. Daddy had no idea that we had received the wheelchair. SURPRISE!!!!
