keba773 make sure they always have clean water best lighting for their shells and get a mix of food with different vitamins in them to keep their shell healthy. Also a basking spot. It’s not hard just watch over them for those requirements and you’ll be good and make sure the water temp is also right.

Red eared sliders are usually the cheapest at most places since they are so common but you will need to have a good size tank when they hit maturity as a male is about 6-7 inches full grown so you would need a 60-70 gallon tank for it and females would need close to 80 or more gallons as they get as big as 8-10 inches full grown plus you would need space for them to lay eggs even without a male as like chickens they will have to spit out eggs or get egg bound and die. If I remember correctly. Plus red eared sliders can live between 20-50 years in captivity if taken care of properly. But all turtles save for musk and mud turtles get big. You don't want to know how big a common snapping turtle gets in a few years.

musk/mud turtles stay small. Only grow up to 4-4.5 inches

Musk and mud turtles as someone else said at max they are about 4 inches to 4 1/2 downside musk turtles will release a stinky smell as a defense mechanism and they need brackish water and have a picky diet. So it's a trade off they stay smaller but need a bit more work in my opinion.

Selling turtles or other small animals through the mail is disreputable, illegal and cruel. You should not do this because most people cannot keep them alive and you don't know how long it'll take to get to the destination. The seller should be put out of business and you should know better than this!

It's irresponsible and cruel because baby animals are delicate and defenseless...suppose the delivery is delayed? Most people don't really know how to care for turtles or animals with special temperature, environmental and food needs. It's disreputable and cruel, like selling dogs on Craigslist.
