It's great that she remained so calm. I've seen ladies fully panic and start screaming when a crow swoops near them being territorial. Her calmness surely helped the bird not to panic and attack her. Edit: Also, the way she is holding her arms to separate her and the bird was perfectly done. It surely helped keep her and the bird more calm.
