I like that fact that you give the good bad and ugly, not just all the good stuff about mods. Keep up the good work on the information you post

Nice greetings from Bavaria (Bayern, Germany) :) An really interesting Video, especially for me because i think about to buy an 3.92 getrag, but is it for sure that all of these getrag 3.92 diffs are LSD Differentials??? Because for me it isn't that most Importand part about the Higher Gear Ratio, it is the Limited slip function what is the most Importand for me.... Because i'm building an Drift Project in an 2006 Dodge Charger RT Daytona...where i'm looking for a LSD Differential. It listens also nice about the higher Gear Ratio for this, too.... Bit you know that it's the LSD for me, that is what i'm really looking for. :) So you know how the LSD 3.92 getrag diffs Work/which LSD ist it? Or how high is the % Rating of the LSD, too? A 2006 LX Platform Charger RT should get some more parts, Not only this diff to can use it in it, like the axles or which parts i should get for use the getrag 3.92 LSD? :) It was really great If you could Tell me these things, PLEASE :) I build, mod & work all by my own on my Project and some more like full Restorations of US Classic Cars & these things. So for me it's a lot more to understand about parts or Specs :) However, great Video! I subscribed you/ your Channel & hope to see more of your Project/s! :) Have a nice day, Cheers Till 🙂🍀👋 PS you're right about the oppinion of the different of (Most)people who buy a Car like the hellcat, & people who BUILD theyr dream :) They who BUILD theyr own car have really knowledge of things like that - the other more knowledge of the custom discription about horspower Out of the Stock... ;)

Thank you for your support on the channel 💯🙏🏽. To answer your questions, yes the getrag differentials come with LSD. If you have an RT then you will need SRT axles for it to fit and thats it. I dont know the % rating of the LSD.

@@Srtfiedofficial THANK YOU VERY MUCH for your answer :) I saw that these GETRAG diffs has different ending Mopar Numbers like "AA", "AD, "AB" ore something else like that.... Make that any difference between them? They've 3 different NUMBERS for the 3 different Ratio (3.06, 3.73, 3.92), that make sense...but even these "AA" or "AB" at the ends, that makes me asking about; "what is the difference!?" 🤔😅 I'm building an "Modern Muscle/Mopar Drift Machine" with this 2006 Charger R/T Daytona as Base. Or even this is my Intention for this Projekt 😋... And i really need an LSD Differential what is really good, or even also really fast & strong locking. Because that would make the most sense for this Projekt. I heared about the WAVETRACK, but even not sure that they've the fitting one for the 2006 R/T drivetrain, because i read 2009+ or even 2006 SRT 8 Version. Do you know if an 2006 5.7L DAYTONA ist different to the drivetrain of the SRT 8 (2006-2008) because the Daytona has also the Niveau regulation rear shocks & "9 Land steering wheel, even those things more than the ordinary R/T's of this time. So i thought it's more the drivetrain of the SRT 8 Version.... But hey, that's all a little bit work about to get the knowledge of "know your parts" & i'm working on this since october last year, when i found my Charger Daytona at NC & brought it to Bavaria/Bayern 🙂...and the Car Looks really nice, really different to the most modded/customized Chargers because i've choosen wheels that aren't common in these Mopars, didn't understand why, because they're so great looking in it. VORS TR4 rims in 19x10.5" for Front- & rearend in glossy black to the shiny yellow "Top Banana!" colored Car. With BC Racing BR Type Coilovers, this car has a so wide stance/track, especially with the 10.5" wide rims at the frontend, that looks so evil🙂 with a little stretched 255/45 R19 tires at front & more "meaty Look" with 285/40 R19 at the rearend. Rims 22mm Offset, 20mm spacers per side at the frontend makes Offset 2mm! That fits so amazingly perfect, that i was so Happy about this choice of Fitment what i've calculated & smoked my brain before choose all these components 😅 The VORS TR4 rims are in the Style of the JDM DRIFT Classics rim from WORK Wheels, the KIWIAMI CR2, even used mostly ob Driftcars. And that was one of my must haves at this Project...now the Car looking amazingly, and even so different to the most modded LX Chargers. Wish i could show you Pictures of it that you could see the Car & what i mean😐.... However, now the Charger looking Like a really Drift Style modern Muscle, but it's even not an true Drift car without an LSD!😅 But i've to say that i'll Drive this Car daily! & I've to go an good way because when i build it als a pure track use Drift Muscle, i think then it was too much "Drift" for daily use!?😅😂 & Now still in this Moment i've a really nice chance to get a 3.92 GETRAG for roundabout 600€.... What do you think about, is it also good for daily Drive use in these Charger RT's??? :)
@Srtfiedofficial3 жыл бұрын
Yes the getrag 3.92 is great for daily use. As far as the “AA” and “AB” in the part numbers, Im not sure.

its like using a long breaker bar on a tight bolt...The motor has more leverage to get the boat moving!!

Exactly, best bolt on upgrade hands down for it in my opinion.

I just installed 3.73 into my 300 and wot on the freeway it hits the red line real hard did you have any issues like this
@Srtfiedofficial4 жыл бұрын
Yea at times it did that but I had my tuner adjust my trans tune through HP tuners and it didnt do it as often anymore after that. Every once in a while it did when I floored it from like a 30 or 40 roll.
