I just watched Babyface's interview with Genius. He said he wrote this song for Kenny G album and Luther was supposed to sing it. Luther heard this song, he liked it, but didn't want to record it. Babyface felt disappointed LOL Kenny then asked Babyface to sing it. Tommy Motola heard it and said: "this is your record". Mariah also loved it and wanted to do the background vocal. Each song has its own destiny and Babyface was right to sing this. I love this song so much 💙

Found out I was pregnant in late June, it sure felt like Christmas and her february birthday sure had the sun shining on my world like springtime in winter... After several failed pregnancies, I just knew this one would be my miracle!! She still loves her lullaby, but she's 20 now so we call it our song...
