Fallon Fallon Fallon, Baby Flo was awesome but that third barrel WOW!!!!! Lo Lo is my favorite she did so good love all your horses. John is so fun to watch he has his own style. Liked this video lots of fun! I feel your pain with the heat and humidity Vegas has had some rain with 109 temps. adding the humidity you feel like your melting!!!!!!

I feel that arena would be an advantage to any horse that goes left first. I only say that because I know I would have to start where the tunnel straightens out because my horse goes right.

Can anyone tell me what "turnout" means in regard to barrel racing. I'm brand new to watching the sport and have learned a lot so far through videos and reading, but haven't figured that one out yet.

Anytime we say “turnout” we usually mean turned out in the pasture or in a run to play. :)

@@fallontaylor alright, I had found that definition through Google, but I thought I have heard you ladies using it at rodeos. Like if the weather gets bad you might "turnout". Also found it alot in the barrel racing rule book, and there being a fine for it, but they never gave a definition as to what it was.

Take time to walk and trot and canter the barrels instead of going straight to a gallop and also try it in hand

That's All I do and I normally don't ever practice in barrels because I don't want him to get hotter then he already is but he always runs back to the gate on the 2nd but he only does it in competition
