I'm really excited for the TMYLM album reaction, but I'm also not ready for this series of Demi reactions to end! This isn't my favorite album from Demi, but I do feel like it's greatness is pretty undeniable. Stone Cold is genuinely my favorite song of all time, and I feel like For You is easily one of Demi's most underappreciated songs. The only misses for me are Stars and Kingdom Come.

As a whole, Demi's Confident album is probably my favorite out of all their discography. BUT I cannot WAIT for you TMYLM reaction because that album is definitely my runner up. The VOCALS on that album

Tell Me You Love Me is Demi’s best project to date ! it’s so cohesive and the vocals are incredible. The deluxe tracks are some of their best songs. The fandom had to beg Demi’s team to add the deluxe tracks to streaming services cause they’re THAT good.

It's really weird for me that a album so experimental as this one did as good as this did at the time. This album is what Unbroken wish it was, and I love them both. If it was a little more cohesive it'd probably be my fav out of all of Demi's discography. Its just so good.

demi's high note on stone cold is giving me chills EVERY freaking time. definitely in their top 3 of all time. it's a beautiful song. lionheart has always been my favorite since my first listening. i dont know what it is with this songs but it hits me in a way i can explain??? i love it sooo much. when i heard it live i was vibing so hard hahaha and of course Father is THE moment of the album. i heard father's live and it was so hard for them to perform. their performance live broke me. i'll never be able to hear this song without crying

Confident for me is one of those albums that has grew on my over time just like Unbroken. I think the problem I have with both is they don’t feel very consistent, there’s great songs but also a few that feel out of place even if they’re still good. I think the songs become more enjoyable when you’re no longer expecting a story of sorts and know that you’re getting songs with different sounds from one and other.

Btw, all of the songs from Confident where revealed by famous people who were friends with Demi at the time over on Twitter as a way to promote the album. Iggy Azalea revealed Kingdom Come, for example, and I remember Nick Jonas and Jimmy Fallon were also part of the reveal party.

The song Yes is about their engagement to Wilmer Valderama (they were engaged while making and releasing Confident). They were saying yes to marriage. During tour for Confident Wilmer ended the relationship and broke off the engagement. Demi talked a lot about the song and the broken off engagement in the KZbin documentary Simply Complicated.

I...don't think they were ever engaged? From what I remember reading Demi was completely willing to move forward into that next phase of their relationship but because of Demi's dependency on Wilmur and his hesitancy to propose they never got engaged. From what I know, maybe I'm wrong Demi was only ever engaged to that guy she met during the pandemic.
