it's about the work being done. There's a whole world difference between people making generic music with the same methods and the same tools with easier beats up just for business, and people making their own music with their own tools, their own way to work, their own understanding of what production value is. I don't blame producers being finical over what they want to do, instead of just working on what they think is cool, because in the end, it's a hard job, and you gotta eat, but it definitely sadden me that the music industry is more about profit at the expanse of whatever quality there is, instead of hiring people who would dig for gems like this that everyone (well at least most) would love to listen to. Unfortunately these days, the industry is crippled by this idiotic idea that being an artist is about being famous and being an image, an icon, innacessible to the casual people, giving this vibe of superficiality and cheesiness, where artists have nothing to say, and everything you hear is the industrial audio engineer making the same beats on the same 30 songs, with 0 expression from the artist nor the songs.
@Abel-Alvarez3 жыл бұрын
You trippin, both mainstream and underground stuff can last an eternity. It's all a matter of perspective on what you like because all art is subjective. Not to knock this track because it is a banger though.

@MasterJace19888 жыл бұрын
+Magnum Titus they aren't underrated, they are just absent from the media because of their message/truth they spread. The internet us different, they cant control the content only hide it. what I mean by that is that the people who listen to them respect them, others don't know of them , so their not underrated, if anything highly rated, just not widely known.
@HxCSounds8 жыл бұрын

Songs like this remind me why the mainstream radio is actively destroying hip hop. When you prioritize the beat of a song over every other aspect (lyrics, rhythm etc.) you feed people nothing but hot beats with garbage. It's become a rare thing to hear hip hop with great beats and great lyricism and flow. This song has all of it.

Hip Hop is in a sad state
@KillerSaiyan6 жыл бұрын
There's definitely a lot of shit out there getting the limelight but theres still good hip hop around. Soundcloud has literally helped me find hundreds of great artists who still carry the torch but aren't getting exposed.
@austinpimperl10466 жыл бұрын
I suppose hip hop as a whole is experiencing a situation like the understood comic book eras. We see certain styles as golden age, maybe hip hop has moved to a state that it wont come back from :/
@KillerSaiyan6 жыл бұрын
Yeah i think you're right. But i wouldn't be sad about it. I feel like everything in life has to eventually evolve otherwise it becomes stale and boring. And I also think that everything evolves into 2 separate forms kind of the way cells divide into 2. One form might be perceived as strange and abnormal and one form might seem nostalgic and similar. For hip hop, the two biggest forms out there right now are mumble rap/trap/auto tune (for example xxxtentacion, trippie red, lil wayne) and the other one is gospel with rhythm (j cole, chance the rapper, childish gambino etc). So if you think about it, theres still good AND bad hip hop out there. It just depends on how into music you are and how far you're willing to search for the good stuff.

Oh yeah I realized days ago that this came out in 2007. Months ago I just chose not to look up their wikipedia page for some odd reason. Why the censorship on KZbin, scared your mom will beat you?

This is and has been the greatest collection of mcs producers. From Jedi crew Boston heads alien younger Celph and his people. It’s competitive to wu tang. So glad I’ found this in 97-98. 4:07 I found almost all this dudes because hip hop was sour. So to be a huge collective, it’s the same as how wu started. To many killer mcs And the abbot. Bringing back real life to hip hop. Like la coka, immortal and brother. Along with all the real underground heads who been on it for 20 plus love y’all

Holy paragraphs, what kind of shit is that? I'm Jesus in the flesh so this is motherfuckin' Christian rap Y'all just Christmas wrap, must be the secret Santa My reindeer aim near, pierce you with the antlers I made 'em go easy, and called off the wolves on my AOTP radio CB Cause y'all ain't worthy of grenades and RPGs Slit throat, hope you float with sardines and seaweed Cause this is C-E-L-P-H demonic symphony Listen to the hell we make And a year before your kids tenth birthday came You didn't have to wait for candles on the cake to see the nine flame [Verse 8: Vinnie Paz] Respect a G, my clique clap at you incessantly I lay back and drink alcohol excessively It ain't a rapper that's alive today that's testing me I got degrees in being ignorant and weaponry A 40 oz and Dutch Master is the recipe That's my shit there, that'll be the death of me Give me a death mask, better yet an effigy I understand the math of death and it's complexity I understand how you was violently murked I understand how you was raised under the lies of the church But understand and recognize that I'm cursed With the ability to end your fucking lives with a verse
