Bro, I feel that; I used to blaze with my friends in Highschool listening to Jedi Mind Tricks. It was dope, but nowadays... sort of just reminiscing over the old times, I feel like an old-timer, and I found my first white hair like 3 months ago despite the fact I'm 30 (Guess it's stress). This era of hip hop was the golden era of hip hop, now there isn't much lyricism to be found, and most bars are basic.

You can't fully appreciate the line unless you recognize that it's from Greek mythology and who Prometheus was. He was a Titan who was punished by the Gods for stealing fire (heat) and giving it to human beings. Jus Allah is one of the most underrated lyricists I've come across.

This song got me through some of my darkest moments after the death of my father 16 years ago. I can honestly say that about JMT and AOTP period. This track however holds a special place in my heart. I thank God for these men and the trials that they endured that made them capable of producing such moving art. Oh and the psycho social is still one of my favorite albums.

Vinnie, planetary, Esoteric, Apathy, celph titled.. vinnie starts it off, planetary is the hook, esoteric on some star wars BS, apathy on some pyramids/ orgasm type shit, and CT on some always carrying guns and "accidental deaths" type shit....

This shit is my middle school/Highschool memories.......I listened to mainstream rap too, but mostly lil wayne and jedi mind tricks. lol even after 15-20 years, Lil wayne and JMT are my favorites....i can listen to old lil wayne and JMT anytime, too many good songs

Diabolic is also a good rapper who has made songs with ill bill immortal tech and vinnie paz from jmt, Also Apathy is another really good rapper along with a mexican chick I just started listening to named reverie she spits like fire and her beat is real as hell she just released an album called russian roulette my personal two fav songs by her are walk in these shoes and always down you should give it a listen if you have appreciation for real hip hop and underground music
