My FX02 is almost 3 years old and going strong. I get device fatigue, but I cannot deny that this is a beast. Shaves 2 day or less growth on my bald head as close as a razor. Not a fan of it on my face though. Other than that, you can't go wrong.

@ I moved on to a Braun Series 9 Pro for the face and head. I shave about every 4 days. Once I got past the learning curve, its been great. No device is perfect, just gotta find the one that does what you find the most important best and accept what it can't do.

What do you think of the battery of the fx02. As you know is not lithium. Any problem with the Fx02 until this moment?

No issues with battery, going on 3 years strong. If you haven't already, I would get. It's as strong as the Arc 5 or Braun 9, just that it does not cover as wide as those two. Just use on no more than 2 days of growth. Struggles for me on 3, would not dream of 4 days or more growth.

I would swap the lower foil with the top when it goes dull, then buy replacements and only replace the top foil. Since you will be using the top foil most of the time.

I cant use a razor on my face without irritation. So I use the Andis t-outliner to shave. To avoid razor burn, irritation and bumps. Would recommend the babyliss? Or Whals finally? Also do they cut below the skin? Or just above the surface?

I had to return the Babyliss FX2, it was like a cheese grater on my face. Pulling with severe razor burn, not sure if it was a defect or what, but new out of the box it went back for a refund.

I have been cutting over 30 years notably!! My recommendation is the Babyliss Pro Foil FX2 Shaver. I've used the wahl shaver and the andis shaver. You shouldn't be to concern with the cost because it feels very durable compared to the wahl and andis shaver. Which has a plastic housing. Andis shaver is not a good shaver very weak. Wahl 5star shaver is powerful but I haven’t tried the babyliss. But definitely not Andis. Return ASAP

I just got the FX01 and it's not cutting for some reason. It powers on, but when I try it on my facial hair stubble, nothing's being cut, it's just rubbing my face. I even tried on my arms and legs too, and it's not even like it's cutting a little bit, it does not cut a single strand of hair. I've tried different angles and different levels of pressure. Is there some special way to use this or something? Or did I just get a faulty product?

I have the fx02 they lose their sharpness FAST! had it for 2 months already replaced foil 2 times. Stick with Braun 7 or 9 way better when I used to have the 7 replaced the foil in the 5th month of using it,

I bought the double foil ones in black with gold and I love them. They cut sooo close! I can see how they're probably not good on very sensitive skin but it just takes time for one's skin to get used to the shaver's blades and that's it. Could anybody tell me how to understand the blue indicator light when charging? At first when I start to charge it, the blue light will be blinking but then after about a minute it will keep on steady. The owner's manual doesn't say how to understand the indicator light.

You need barber school to get your license so that it’s legal.. some states have apprenticeship but it’s a much longer journey

How much noise do they make? I have the Andis BGR and bought the Oster Octane cordless because of the battery and I hate it cause it's loud as hell. Better battery than the Andis but not worth the 300$ I paid. I'm gonna just buy the battery and charger for the Andis and kick the Octane to the curb..waste of money..so now B4 I buy any new tools gotta make sure they're quite if all else is bueno.

Lithium ion batteries are the best for any tool in my opinion. That's why Wahl bit off Andis and made the Finale with lithium ion. That being said, I still choose Andis over that pretty chromed out looking Babyliss. It made me curious enough to check out your review. They need to made the battery equal or better in my opinion if they're gonna compete with Wahl and Andis.
