Well written and excellent review of these shavers. Most appreciated. Got the single UV one and its a beast of a shaver. Strongly recommend getting the add-on grip that I bought with this and a hard case to protect it when travelling. Great job and you look cute in that hat hoody combo. Just excellent.

If you want your mustache to be lined up in sharp, a foil shaver isn’t gonna do the job. You’ll need like a trimmer to shake it nice and tight but if you’re just using a foil shaver just for removing the stubble around it then it’s perfect for at home.

@@jayedwards4787 FX3 is lighter to use in this case. The metal foil you are talking about IS 10,000 RPM..at least our USA models..nothing runs over 10,000 Rpms across all foil shaver types that the brand has

@@Staygold31 The FX02 I bought several years ago states it runs at 11,000 rpm …it’s the same blades and foil - they are interchangeable between the FX02 and the O3.

@@jayedwards4787 we are actually both correct because I've been with this company since before that product even launched and there is nothing in our line of foil shavers that goes beyond 10,000 lol You are referring to a European version and I'm referencing a US model. The euro version is 11,000. US is 10,000. Regardless, whether it's 10 or 11, its way MORE than enough power needed for someone at home.

Both cut at 10,000 RPM. U won't notice a speed difference between the two. If ur covering a lot of space a double like fx3 is solid. 🫡

If u just using it for yourself and you are not a barber I would buy a Braun series shaver or a normal babyliss double foil shaver since the special feature of the fx one is the changeable battery but if u got no clients you got enough time to charge your shaver

I have a skeleton fx trimmer gold which is really good, the negative is that it gets hot. I have cleaned and oiled but it still gets very hot. I guess most professional machines get hot. it is nothing that can be avoided.

I’ve noticed you don’t ever have a negative thing to say about any babyliss products. If there was anything that you didn’t like about a tool would you say so?

I definitely have a more optimistic approach to my gear. I have certain things I personally enjoy that others might not and vice versa, but for the most part, I really do love all their products. If there’s anything people look for, I can usually spot a tool that has the features they need. Babyliss is one of those brands that offer variety of options with slightly diff features and specs and to answer your question, if there was anything I didn’t like or could have improvements on, I go straight to the company’s development department to share that 😆

My only two negatives are no usb-c charging and not waterproof. They addressed the charging with the UV series which I have and love. The waterproof still is a pain point though. Would be much easier to clean under the sink.

@@ChrisDecrease I’ve had the FX3 also. Great shaver. If I didn’t take it when I traveled and also used the Babyliss trimmer then I wouldn’t sweat it. The plastic and lighter weight on the FX3 I do like more though. Metal is slippery and makes it weigh more than it needs to. Can’t go wrong with either.

Honestly they all have same rpm. I hate using single foil on high fades and mid fades and large areas. It strains your motor and foil more and takes more time. Fx2 has rotary motor, fx3 has lithium ion. Just depends on preference all are solid.

The babyliss did not work for me. Had to keep going over and over my face and the babyliss pro fx3 did not live up to the hype. I actually had to use a razor which I hate in order to get the stuble off. Yes I used a hot towel on my face before shaving and the result was still not good. Maybe foil shavers are not for black men.
