Being born in 1970, I was 13 in 1983, up to 19 in 1989, so when I was a teenager, it was the 80's, and I wouldn't trade that for anything in this world!

Man, when I was growing up, my dad was all about this kind of 80’s - early 90’s rock and on Saturday/Sunday mornings, when we were off from school and work, he would rock the house with songs like this. I grew up listening to Metal Church, Sleaze Beeze, McQueen Street, Asphalt Ballet, Helloween, Bang Tango, Babylon AD, Warrior Soul, Dokken, Fastway, and Bullet Boys...etc. I miss those times back then just enjoying the morning, rocking out, and no care in the world. Man what I would give to go back in time bout 22 years ha. All this great music though is just nostalgic to my childhood and I couldn’t be more grateful!

You still had 80's bands performing in the 90's. The Grunge Era didn't kill jack shit it started in 1983 you didn't start seeing Grunge bands fading out until 1995 .
@Texasmilitarydepartmentvid96548 ай бұрын
The reason those bands started struggling was because of Doom Metal, Black Metal , Power Metal, Symphonic Metal, Nu Metal. A band like Korn , Sepultara, Cannibal Corpse, the new era of Pantera was changing the music industry in the 90's but most of those late 80's bands carried on until 2000 struggling nobody was listening to Grunge bands at that time . They wanted something like Skinless, Cryptopsy, Limpbiskit, Disturbed, System Of A Down , Drowning Pool, Vader , Night Wish.

I was a teen in the late 80s and it was the best time to be a teenager. The hair bands, cruising with the windows down radio blasting, headbanging till you had whiplash. What a time to be alive! I'm just sorry my son and granddaughter didn't get to experience that time. Everything is on camera now and everyone wants to be offended by every little thing now days. You can't have any fun anymore. It all started going down hill with NIRVANA and that grunge crap. Then on top of that Metallica cut their hair and dressed like boy banders. What a disgrace
