Nightmare was way harder last year. This year's is a downgrade compared to the last one imo. Last Stand is cool, but not really interesting or exciting, it just gets repetitive.

Did nightmare yesterday with Randoms after almost losing hope to beat it. Yes it is easy. Would be nice to get this as 2 player coop mode or 3 men mode.

How did i beat nightmare: Played on hard mode and invited some decent players i met, quened in 4 man platoon and won the nightmare with them. That's the best strat for people with no friends, but does require you to be decent to begin with, otherwise people simply won't join you

I quit at lvl 12. Too much time, too few rewards at the end of each lvl. and each time out is a crap shoot with the teams you get. It became more frustrating than it's worth.

With randoms did normal and hard from the first try, last stand from around the 5th game and nightmare from the 12th game. Don't know what annoyed me the most on nightmare, having 3 lights on the team...the lag spikes against the boss, the amount of crits that were supposed to be pens, the times you get lit on fire twice in a row (not by the corrupted hornet). Feels like they tampered a looot with the rng

Great shots at those hedges. :D Yeah, with randoms it reminds you how clueless people can be - ignoring immortal indicator, driving by respawns too close, driving to closes resp < 200m while immortal is in blocking the sun range, not using minimap, not killing mobs at boss phase, not prioritizing trappers and hornets and instead putting everything into hts acting as shell sponges... No matter the end result, I'm at most times top 1 in everything even if I die every phase and given my skill level that's really telling. Only good thing is most people are going to same spawn when someone pings them. Obviously I had several random good teams too, but that's like 20%.

It sucks WG nerfed this mode. Last Stand is so easy to do like 90% of the times even with just 2 people in a platoon

After finishing Nightmare with Malachit, and Defeating all 5 Waves with the VK.45.01P, i now just grind the Normal mode with Grenardier:) You are almost always Top Damage due to 7k DPM, and its just funny:)

Pro tip: vampiric shot is insanely useful against hedgehogs, especially in boss fight, you can shoot at the boss and any hedgehog around it will explode and you will regain a ton of health. I won unwinnable scenarios with vampiric shot spam against crowds of enemies

But hedge hogs have 200 h0 and vamperic shot only do 150 damage

Sadly I don't have friends who play WoT, so I had to stick with the random queue....I couldn't get a Nighmare win, but I had luck ONCE in the Last Stand and got a win in that mode. It was sooooo frustrating that most of the time we sucked out in the 4th, and even at times in the 3rd wave with me doing 17-20 k DMG in my Turtle and the other players were between 2000-7000 DMG only. Checked player stats afterward, and they were horrible players bringing horrible low DPM tanks. But that one win...we had a Grom, a Kilana a TS-5 and a Liberté (which is low DPM but luckily after the match it turned out he was a unicum) and my Turlte. There were communication during the whole match, in the start I said that with fast reload I'm going to concentrate on Chargers, Hornets, Trappers and Hedgehogs and thankfully I could took them out fast and when the groups spawned next to us I used energy shot (I had 3800 DPM in my Turtle with bond vents, bond rammer...and I was fairly mobile with bond turbo + turbo directive). But most of all: everyone knew what to do and pulled its own weight (our "worst" was the Liberté with 12k DMG and 10 kills and the top 2 was me and the Grom with 21-21 k DMG and 19-19 kills). The second part of the last wave wasn't even close because I took out the trapper very fast and then we just ROFLstomped the E50Ms and everyone survived with a lot of HP. :)

Managed to complete the whole event this past Saturday. Only played with randoms. Got very lucky on Nightmare difficulty as I was matched alongside a 4-man platoon, though I was very close a few times before that so I'm sure I would've beat it eventually anyway. That said the Double is absolutely the best tank for this mode IMO, with the Grenadier being quite fun too as long as you know what you're doing.

Grenadier and double are best fr. Double clears enemies by ramming, grenadier with sheer damage, but struggles against heavy tanks in late waves

I stopped playing because I don‘t have the possibility to play in a platoon and just with randoms it is just not possible to finish this mode in any acceptable amount of time.

I did both NM and LS and gotta say, your best bet is to just play easy mode for keys. You cannot possibly lose (right? right?!) and if you are at the first place you gain 7 keys i think, 6 keys at 2nd and 3rd and 5 keys at last 2 places. You also gain like 2 extra keys for daily game per tank. This is easy and reliable and isnt as stressful at all. Just relax my man.

I played this exclusively with randoms...... It was everything from onslaught painful(full team of T-44 plus me in TS-5), to amazing(2 groms, me in TS-5, winning 12 in a row), depending on teams.

I would assume it would be really easy in a platoon of decent players since so far I've got up to step 14 done in randoms without really having to play that much. Even got two phases of nightmare done solo and I mean solo, my team mates were bots, they all died immediately at the beginning of both phases which seems to be the norm in hard and nightmare, the harder the difficulty the worse people play. Just going to grind the last two steps on the weekend since I already have enough for half of step 15. There's some tactics I'd like to try in the waves mode since everyone basically does the same thing, sit on the ledge. I noticed with the many games I had with afks in them that the bots(game bots) would all go after them and not attack the rest of the team until they were dead. Thought of trying a light tank in a platoon and just kiting them by my team so they could pick them off unmolested.

Skipped playing hard and nightmare because randoms are too stupid to realise its a teamwork game mode and not a damage contest. Played laststand and suprisingly often beating it. Still saw plenty of people in paper tanks, not uderstanding that there is no bush to camp in or a safe position to sit in.

Yes, you get a badge for completing nightmare difficulty and a medal for completing all objectives during the game mode.

honestly it's very annoying playing Last Stand in randoms, let alone Nightmare. People straight up leave or just die with like 3k dmg in Last Stand and I struggle to even understand how that's possible

Yes is very easy, if you pay 54 euro for two bundles and you get 1000 key! Is not possible in other way for an average player, to get the Nergal!

It's so nice when you don't have the HP bug like some of us. Even reinstalling the game didn't fix it (all tanks in this mode have 100% hp even after being damaged) :D
