@@Jess-pe8bq Yo, I'm an Animal Crossing fan since Population Growing (GameCube, the first GC Game of the franchise.) and there's a lot of crazy things out there about AC, and Nintendo could easily blend that stuff into other games. Rusty also resembles Tom Nook Both start poor and low on their luck, both had high moments, Nook made it to the city only to come back poor and sad, Rusty had a wife, business is well, then it went and stopped doing well and his wife leaves him. Both have "sons" (I put sons in quotation marks since Tom Nook has Adopted Nephews instead.) that help around the shop and lend towards the storyline. *TL;DR* Rusty resembles Tom Nook in some ways, and Nintendo has Yokai and other subtle Japanese (folklore) things, Gyroids and Coco in AC are both based off of Haniwa which were buried with the dead, interesting stuff.
