Excellent reaction, thanks! Well, this is why "Arkadia" is one of my favorites songs, definitely on my solid top 3 alongside two huge classics like "Akatsuki" and "Megitsune". Until next time!

The last song of the Trilogy Of Lights, such a powerful way to end this beautiful trilogy. If you watched the complete Legend Metal Galaxy Day 2 2020 then you already saw Starlight and Shine, but now you need to witness another special version of Shine live at Legend M 2019, enjoy it.🦊🤘🔥

Arkadia is one of my favorite Babymetal songs! I wish more people reacted to it lol… as a drummer I can tell you, it’s easily one of the hardest Babymetal songs to play 😅 west kami band, unbelievable 🔥

You managed to watch the last song in the trilogy of light first lol ! Starlight and Shine are two of my favourites from Babymetal. Hoping you check them out soon !

The Trilogy of Lights really needs to be watched/listened to back to back to get the complete effect. This is probably the only other Babymetal song that can match Road of Resistance for relentless intensity and technicality.

If you watch the 3 songs of the Trilogy of Lights, where Starlight and Shine are played before Arkadia, this song hits you in the face like a speeding train! This is such a great uplifting song to end an emotional trilogy.🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction, such an uplifting and optimistic "looking to the future" song to end the Trilogy of Lights with. I have to second Jake Muller's suggestion that you need to see the Legend M performance of 'Shine' (especially now you understand how important the choreo is with their music and live performances ... that performance is so full of meaning and emotion).🦊

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。 This video was filmed on Day-2 (Jan. 26, 2020) of Legend Metal Galaxy in Makuhari. The band in the girls' back was West (American) Kami Band. (The Day-1 show was by East Kamis. I love them both). When the Day-2 show started, a famous jazz pianist wrote in her article "Hefty undulation in opening sound made the audiences realize that we should be seriously ready to face the performance to come." They are now playing with the girls since April 1, this year. I witnessed the two-day shows in April. Fantastic!! To date this is the only one occasion where the the Trilogy of Lights were performed in a row. As other viewers commented, Arkadia is the last song of "Trilogy Of Lights" being full of full of hope onward. You used the words "triumphant" and "victory". That is true. This song, however, makes me emotional a little bit, because I smell some sad residuals from "the initial grief" sung in the first song "Starlight". I would like New BABYMETAL to perform this song sometime again.

It's not spanking the air, it sort of adopts the "horse riding choreography" in Road of Resistance. I think Arkadia has the similar pace and vibe to the Road of Resistance. To me, Road of Resistance is like "I know the direction. I want to go. But I could not see the future, because I might fail." The Arkadia is like "I know how the future looks like and it's close. I want to speed up and go there."

This track must have the most relentless drumming in any song I've heard. When played live I'm not surprised Aoyama can handle it with ease but I am surprised Anthony Barone still has an intact kit by the end of it. I don't recall which version was up on the BABYMETAL channel (and the video now seems to have been removed), and I can't really see past the watermark here, but when Riho Sayashi danced to this as one of BABYMETAL's support dancer Avengers, it was really moving to see her totally put her heart and soul into it. 'Arkadia' is the last song in the set that fans call 'The Trilogy of Lights'. The songs are popularly believed to be tributes to guitarist Mikio Fujioka who passed away following an accident and to former member Yui Mizuno who retired from the band due to poor health. This song is the kind of healing stage in the trilogy, following songs that seem somewhat more conflicted and sad.

The bulk of BABYMETAL songs are great! But there are 3 songs that I refer to as sleeper songs. Syncopation, Adawama Fever and Arkadia! These 3 are definitely in my top 10 songs.

Another reaction had said that BabyMetal songs are too much like “stadium metal”, as it’s geared for a stadium filled with fans. He said it in a negative way. Not sure how having songs where your fans can join in and immerse themselves to the band and the music a bad thing. Your reaction is great. You were either in shock or smiling!!!

This is such a great song - hope they play it again one day.
They are not "spanking the air", the dance move is called "Grab Koba by the hair and bitch slap him".

Nice reaction. To think they did this after Shine during the Legend M concert. Which was very moving in an EMOTIONAL DAMAGE kind of way. With Su and Moa walking off the stage. Then it's like ok enough of that. It's time to move on. At full speed of course. For Babymetal this is the way.

ARKADIA doesn't need a prog intro, it comes after Shine, that is as prog as it can be 😅, it simply slap you in the face, which is literally the meaning of the song! Life keeps running, hold yourself, keep on moving, be strong, we must have faith in our future. PS I've to admit, Day 2 is my favorite by a lot between the two 😅, though Day 1 is quite cool 😎 ! 🤘🦊⚡️

It's a shame they started to completely ignore the band in 2019/2020 in their shows/recordings except for 2 cuts per song on a guitarist or the made-for-live-intros. For me the best DVD/BD will always be the Tokyo Dome shows because you can see the band almost the complete concert. And of course because they play every song, had a great crowd and a sick stage.

from music composition perspective, Arkadia is indeed one of Babymetal's most perfect song. a lot is going on here, minor to major to minor chord progressions, syncopations (a LOT of it btw), high beat tempo from start to finish, dynamic changing back and forth (as you mentioned already) with the beautiful bridging in between, flawless transitions from the double pedaling to the marching beat. it's one of the (if not THE) most demanding technique required from music performers. pulling this song live, Kami Band is really REALLY such underrated performers. they deserve to be known better. and yet, the song plays beautifully from beginning to end, you just don't notice all those complexity at all. it's composed into one beautiful harmony. however, from the performance perspective, this song lacks one key element of many Babymetal song, which is the audience interactions. no chanting, no part where the audience can join in, no shouting... which is a shame really, perhaps it's what made this song are rarely being performed live (including outside of Japan). i'd love to watch this song performed live with my own eyes and ears one day.
