I think the younger girls were 14 here if I'm remembering correctly. This was their most ambitious performance they'd done at the time. Not only are they doing a full set of 14 songs (and performing their entire discography across 2 nights), they're singing live (no lip syncing) doing full blown intricate choreo at breakneck pace in addition to having to utilize various stagecraft elements into their performance. I can't imagine doing all of that in an 80-90 minute set at 14.

This performance is the best example of the fact that their songs sound far heavier and stronger when they're played live. Especially SU's voice is far much more intense than the record. And in addition, their producer said DA DA DANCE in their latest album is kind of an homage to this song.

The music video has soooooo much more impact. Everything hits harder and you do get full-on rapping. Iine is one of the BM tracks where you don't go to the live version first. Oh well... They do have a track that's got a big ska influence - Yava! There are live versions with solos at the start. I'm too lazy to check if you've done it already. ;o)

⚡ 💀 💕 / 👍 This is the probably the ultimate, "Do you like music genres? We smooshed them all into this one song for you." Probably my favorite EDM Dance Rave HipHop Kawaii Metal song of all time. : ) Too bad they haven't performed this song since they toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in April of 2017. This was just the second song they released as a single (they were already doing IDZ but released that later) and they threw every genre they could think of into it. I think they were establishing early on they were not going to be pigeonholed or put into just one box or genre. All the established rules for songwriting etc were being thrown out, they tore up the rule books, wrote their own rules and decided to tear them up too. If they want EDM, hip hop, death metal and then to go back to EDM in one song then that was what they were going to do. Iine means 'so good' like a thumbs up emoji - and that really sums this song up.

Nice video guys! This is one of their early songs. To be specific, this was their 2nd released song after Doki Doki Morning (not sure if you done this yet but if not, I suggest you this). This is one of their 'experimental' songs where they throw in as much genres as they can. It had EDM, rave, pop, metal, rap (in the studio version), and reggae (as Alan said) and it fits altogether perfectly! This is one of the tracks in their collaborative album with Kiba of Akiba. There are 4 tracks in that album. Two original tracks (BABYMETAL - Iine! and Kiba of Akiba - Party @the BBS) and two covers (Kiba of Akiba Cover of BABYMETAL's Doki Doki Morning and BABYMETAL Cover of Kiba of Akiba's Kimi to Anime Ga Mitai; I'm also not sure if you already done this one but it's also a good one with pretty riffs).
