IDZ always sounds epic . You should see them perform this at Sonisphere in 2014 in front of 60.000 British metalheads! Their first metal festival outside Japan . This crowd are known to showing their displeaser at Bands they don't like or SSA show in 2015 when we witness the famous Yui leap 😮 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

Great reaction. IDZ is right up among my own favourite songs - and it was the second song they ever played live, so one of the earliest things they did ... the lyrics are deep and meaningful (something they were accused of never having by the people who called them "bubblegum pop"). It even includes reference to the people standing by pretending not to notice (the friends of the person being bullied) and doing nothing to help or to stop it being as much a part of the problem as the bullies. Yes of course Yui and Moa were playing the guitars in the video ... every bit as much as Babybones were playing theirs.☠🎸🎸☠ The hairy guy in the MV was representing the spirit of metal. He was being bullied, having his hair cut and guitar smashed by the mainstream pop and hip hop guys (as was pretty much the case figuratively in Japan around that time) until he saw the "Stand Up Metal" message painted on the rock ... and was revealed as a Babybone guitarist at the end.🎸🤘Good shocked face by the way.😮 They use IDZ mainly for encores now - they played it on the last date of the US tour and again on the last date of the European tour last year. I think we would all appreciate another reaction, but to a live version. Any live will do - there are so many good early performances of IDZ, the most famous being at Sonisphere 2014 in the UK, their first time in the UK and their first major event outside of Japan with over 50k potentially hostile UK metalheads to impress. The title 'Ijime, Dame, Zettai' (or Bullying, No More, For Ever/Absolutely) was (I believe) taken from an anti drugs campaign in Japan (ie "Drugs", Dame, Zettai) - and funny you said this should be shown in schools - as Rick Wagner said in the comments below, Su, Moa and Yui did appearances in plain clothes as part of a Japanese government "anti-bullying" campaign when this song was released.

_Kitsune tobe!_ 🦊🤘🙅♂️ Welcome back to the Foxhole. you can just call it IDZ for short if you want. You got it right, It means "No More Bullying Forever" and it's the best anti-bullying song ever. This was released officially early 2013, but it was previously performed live the year prior to this MV, technically is their second song in chronological order but apparently it was too much speed metal and without so much blending with the kawaii metal they were trying to show, so probably that's the reason they released Doki Doki Morning or Iine! instead. The official MV got baby-bones air playing the instruments, and the beard man is representing the heavy metal music that was bullied by the mainstream music (nice catching up that one), and of course our three heroines come to rescue, The live version at Sonisphere Festival 2014 is also known as the miracle of Sonisphere and is a turning point in their career they will never forget, after that they consider UK their second home, make sure to check that out. Btw japanese fans jumping with the "X" arms when they sing "Ijime Dame!" and later "Kitsune tobe!" that's another tribute to X Japan when fans did the same at X live concerts. They played this song during this recent World Tour 2023 as an ender on certain special moment when finishing the Babyklok Tour in Los Angeles and more later in Madrid closing the Europe & UK Tour adding one more song to the setlist. You can enjoy two or three more versions at least, IDZ Nemesis Version (with former Arch Enemy guitarist), the one at Budokan 2021 without YuiMetal but with the same energy, and Legend Metal Galaxy 2020 with both Kami Band on stage and all three avengers in an epic performance, you don't need a reaction, enjoy it on your own time. The guy in the MV got his own YT channel, his name is Kyle Patrick Gibson and he made a video talking about this participation, there's also a commentary vid made by the girls remembering this guy and how nice he was with them when talking, they were impressed with his japanese skills. And no, the girls don't play instruments here, although MoaMetal used to take guitar lessons when being young and you can also see her a couple of times performing with a guitar. Next suggestion: - YAVA! with Kami Band intro live at Fox Festival 2017. Kitsune up! 🦊🤘🔥

The live performance of this song always goes incredibly hard. They usually play it as part of the encore and it's always a great way to close the show. If you get a chance, you should watch the legendary live performance at Sonisphere 2014. It was one of the most significant performances of their career.

Nice reaction. Babymetal waits for us all. They will always be there when folks are ready for them. And sometimes even when they're not. Surprise. You should react to Babymetal reacting to Babymetal. This is one of the songs they reacted to. Getting to hear them talk about the filming of this Music video is amazingly Kawaii. The Foxhole is deep and full of surprises.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🚫 The guy in the video represented the "Spirit of Heavy Metal". He's being bullied by the mainstream music industry. The video was filmed in a rock quarry. Quite slippery and cold apparently. The girls did appearances in plain clothes as part of a Japanese government "anti-bullying" campaign when this song was released.

4:39 the songs are meant to be inviting and melodic and energetic, don't apologize for something they've worked hard on are accomplished. 🙂 The guy in the MV was an actor, I think he was from the US or something, an English speaking country. When 'our girls' met him, they were surprised he spoke Japanese, I think he's actually a Japanese teacher for English speakers or English teacher to Japanese speakers, I don't fully remember, but he actually has a KZbin channel. They also did yoga with him during the break of the filming.

Good reaction - if it hasn't already been mentioned their live 2014 performance of this in the UK is amazing though - as usual - better than their MV - but the MV is fun and I love the girls "playing" the guitars :)

Sofimetal! That was one of the best, if not the best, IDZ reactions I have seen yet. Your KItsune dancing is on point and the shock face at the end was over the top. It made me literally laugh out loud! After you watch the live version (hopefully 2014 Sonisphere) you need to watch the commentary video to hear what the girls thought about making the video. Thanks again for your hard work. Kitsune Up! 🤘🦊🤘

Great reaction, thanks! And good job getting the general idea of the lyrics, and the chanting, the choreo... and yes, I was waiting for your reaction to the "plot twist" all the time. 🤣 Actually, "IDZ" was their second song, according to the live performances since it premiered live in July 2011. But it wasn't released until January 2013 for some reason... but probably because it's almost straight power metal and they had no intention to get pigeonholed in one genre. This studio version was probably recorded around (or previous to) the date they premiered it because Su-metal sounds so young here. This is one of the reasons why everyone is going to suggest you a later live performance, specifically the one from Sonisphere 2014. 😅 Yes, "IDZ" is an anti-bullying song and the lyrics not only points out the bullies but also tho those who are aware of the situation and decide to look to the other side. Of course it's a powerful message and it's one of my favorite songs (power metal enthusiast here). They rarely perform it live today. I traveled 400 miles each way just for the possibility that they did. It was totally worth it. 😎 🤘🦊

Nice reaction 🦊💕 This is one of the most iconic babymetal songs, they usually use it to close their concerts along with Road os Resistance. Of course you have to react to a live version, people will surely recommend the Sonisphere version. But my favorite and in my opinion the most epic is the Legend Metal Galaxy version, in which they close the concert together with the two kami bands and with the three avengers on stage (maybe you can spot kano from @onefive xd) kzbin.info/www/bejne/aHnWg4iQr8-NobM

Yay, another amazing reaction! If you recall Babymetal's lore, they are 3 metal spirits summoned by the Fox God to answer the cries and prayers of metal fans who were being "oppressed" by the idol industry. The guy being bullied represents "heavy metal" as he is being bullied by "the Idol Industry". Babymetal saves him and bringing him in with "the ONE". I love Babymetal's story telling! 🤣 When you do the live version, please do the Sonisphere UK 2014 version! 🤘🦊

Excellent song but, sadly, not among their best music videos. You may want to look into their Sonisphere 2014 live version ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKCQkJaYm8mlj6csi=ihr8hZi5ikI1Q6e2 ). And, no, they aren't playing the guitars any more than the Babybones are in this video, but Moa is familiar with the guitar and Yui was learning to play it. Keep rockin’ BABYMETAL!!! Nice reaction as always. This along with Gimme Chocolate was my first exposure to BabyMetal back in 2014. I always preferred this as it's less cutesy, not that there's anything wrong with Gimme Chocolate just that I prefer this. As has been suggested the Sonisphere 2014 is a good one to check for a live version. Oh and you didn't just suggest you might start dancing did you? After your admission on this subject in the Ratatata live reaction I'd be very concerned 😱

Not many react to the music video! Please look up the lyrics, the chorus actually has different words; first time it's iijime (dame) ijime (dame), next time it's different but they do sound similar. (even I thought that was the case until I saw the lyrics/captions).
