Yui rocked so hard here, she ripped her skirt... :) Yeah, this was a fantastic concert and there's a whole story about it, from being booked on a small stage and in the last minute go up on the main stage infront of all those people and win over the whole crowd....That's Babymetal for you. Amazing!

Another reaction I keep coming back to. You captured the magic of BABYMETAL perfectly. You just can't help but smile all the way through it. They have so many qualities, outstanding musicians, awesome vocals, cool and cute choreography, the positive vibe, great Metal music in a fresh variation, unbelievable contagious energy. And to top it off, you get this feeling of admiration (and at least for those who dig deeper into their history, even something like fatherly pride) for what these girls have achieved.

You got the significance of this performance in your intro, they were aged 16 (Su) and just turned 15 within the couple of weeks before (Yui and Moa) when they did this. Not only did they have a hardcore metal crowd chanting their name and calling for 'one more song' at the end, early on in the set Su even had them singing along in Japanese to a song called Gimme Chocolate. It is such a shame Yui will no longer be with them, but there are so many great performances from the last 7 or 8 years with all three of them you can still get to see, please do more - the official videos are good, their live performances are always even better. Try Headbanger (live Legend 1997) or Karate live at Download 2016 has been suggested already.

this show put Babymetal on the map. there is different opinins of why they were moved at last minute. some say it was because they sold out small venue the night before but the one I think is correct is that the manager of the show didn't want them there so he moved them at last minute to the main stage to destroy them. the girls didn't know how many people that was there til they walked out on stage. only thing the band got to do was a quick sound check. the girls didn't even have time to establish choreography points. at the beginning Moa's ear piece didn't work. later Yui's skirt started unraveling. so many things with this show but by the second song Su had the crowd in her hand and she actually had metal fans singing Japanese with her. by the fifth song, this one, they were screaming for more. after the show Babymetal merchandise was the best selling even three and four days later. if this show had never asked Babymetal to come to small stage and all the small stuff never happened most would never know Babymetal and that would be a shame. babymetal brought fun back to metal. Babymetal brought the stage show to metal. I have been fan since 2013 before this and will be a fan long time in the future.

Just can't help but feel so proud of them and happy for them as they stroll off the stage after a victorious performance. :) I can tell that kind of endearment is really reaching you more and more as you go along with them. Also, the girl you forgot is Moa. You must always remember Moa! ;) She is the youngest of the trio, but only by two weeks relative to Yui.

I highly recommend to react to Babymetal - Catch Me If You Can live at Budokan Black Night. A song about playing hide and seek with a demon, and the three just made the damn song so cute and catchy despite the heavy riffs and double bass actions. Also it highlights the great talent of Kami band (literally means God band), the musicians for Babymetal. :)

Sadly, Yui just announced her retirement from the band a few days ago. The community is really sad right now. In the past year the band took a new direction with his music, more mature, and more dark. Yui was absent since one year due to health conditions, and finally she will not be able to get back on stage with her friends. As you saw, their performance are pretty physical and Intense. Plus, they do that since 8 years now ( they started at 11 and 13) So, maybe, Yui want to do something else too...she talked about some dreams she want to realize, and we have to respect that. How many time have you changed you point of interest between your 11 and your 19? Also, giving a new artistic direction to the band, I guess, is probably a necessary thing since they are growing up, and i dont think seeing them in their 30 in red tutu would have been a good idea. Anyway we have to continue to love and cherish what we had, and the new direction looks interresting too. At this point you can continue to explore their past sound, there is so much incredible performances to see. After all the sadness in the recent days about Yui's departure, it was so healthy to see how they make you smile. Thank you! And you are exactly right, you can get a general idea by reading the translation of the lyrics, but a lot gets lost in translation. About the middle part with the "narrative", I'm not even a big Anime fan, and this still goes right to my heart. There's something about the Japanese language and girls' voices that just makes it a perfect combination. And regarding kawaii, you haven't seen anything, yet. These songs are just the tip of the iceberg. Wait till you have seen songs like "Awadama Fever". If you decide to do another reaction, I'd like to suggest a song called "Rondo of Nightmare". It's a Su solo, and this version also features an awesome instrumental intro by the Kami Band: kzbin.info/www/bejne/h6m8cpZ_rtBledE. A word of warning, though: After the third BM song there is no turning back.

Another excellent reaction....... you really get the fun aspect of BABYMETAL! They have released a NEW single three days ago.... it's called "Starlight" and is a tribute to one of their guitarists Mikio (playing the black guitar on this Sonisphere video) who tragically died in January this year. He was very interested in astronomy... and there are some English lyrics in this amazing song. Again bro it's just fun to watch the affect this band has on you. Just the biggest shit eating grin on your face the whole time!!! (Not a knock) let's take a sec to give props to the fucking guys playing the instruments!! The band just shreds nonstop reminiscent of dragon force with the skill level and the driving drums over insane guitar licks and equally driving bass lines. Combined with the little girls memorizing all the little choreographed moves which are different from song to song and the great lead vocals how could any fan of metal or music even not love this shit!? I know I dig it. So do you CLEARLY. Another great vid brother. You did alien by maximum the hormone which is one of my LEAST favorites. Please do Zetsoubu Billy by them. It's so much better (my opinion) and I really hope you give them another listen because like baby metal they REALLY deserve it.
