This was at PIA Arena in April last year. This was actually the world premiere performance of this song. I was lucky enough to be there in the crowd to be one first people in the world to hear this song. The effect of kaleidoscopic visuals and the gold lighting was amazing to see live.

Good one, thanks! Of course you didn't expect this. The thing is that many said that they were going the safe way when the first singles of The Other ONE album came out.. and then, they dropped this mind-blowing song. Because everything about it is unusual, unexpected or fooling: blending psychedelic trance (psytrance) with metal; the use of that particular minor harmonic scale, giving the song its Middle Eastern flavor; the lack of an actual chorus, replaced by two guitar solos; the onomatopoeic use of the song's tittle in the lyrics... Yes, this is different from... well, everything else. I was lucky enough to have experienced this song live in concert last year in Berlin and I have to say that it kicks ass and the guitar solos are so freaking amazing. They even re-arranged the ending of the first one on the live version, probably to match the choreo better. This music video has the studio recording over the BABYMETAL Begins - The Other ONE - Clear Night show visuals. 🤘🦊
👍👍An awesome performance by the ladies of metal 🔥🔥🔥. Great reaction. 🦊 🖖❤

Nice reaction. Unique that's Babymetal. Not what I was expecting. A common phrase for folks reacting to Babymetal. Even for fans of Babymetal just when you think you got them down and start to expect their guitar solos of hard riffs. Babymetal changes things up. Love those moments in their songs. One of the things that makes them different. I do wish the song was longer. Especially live version where they could add in a heavy drop that's not on the album version. From what I understand the song is about a king riding out on one more adventure. Another message by Babymetal go out and do before you can't. They're good at encouraging others. This genre blend is with mostly a middle eastern vibe. You can see it in the dance as well. Getting to see them live is an experience you don't easily forget. The foxhole is deep and full of surprises. Kitsunes UP 🦊🦊🦊

We must have told you many times - expect the unexpected, no two BABYMETAL songs are alike. Summing them up in one word - unpredictable, original, unique ... and rule-breaking. 😁😈 "METALIZMIZUMIZUMU" - great song. Middle Eastern/Egyptian/Arabian (or similar) Psy-trance Metal at its best.🤘🦊🤘When they were releasing short snippets of the songs in advance of the album it was this song that intrigued me most. In the live performances (this is the official MV and the audio is from the studio recording) CJ Masciantonio has been adding some nice embellishments to that first guitar solo.🎸

I've been a metalhead since the early 80s. With each band, you get what you expected. Each Iron Maiden song has a similar style, vibe, transition, etc. The same goes with Judas Priest, AC/DC, Manowar, Y&T, Stratovarius, and so on and so on. I like them all and many more but I got what I expected... and I grew bored. 😢 Along comes BABYMETAL, and everything they do is NOT what I expected! I was intrigued, amused, confused, and flabbergasted, and my mind was blown away. BABYMETAL brought music back into my life. This is one of the many reasons why I love BABYMETAL. With BABYMETAL, you will hear many of us say, "Expect the unexpected." You can listen to 50 different BABYMETAL songs, and the next one will not be like the others. BABYMETAL opens new synapses in your brain, reprograms your thought patterns, and adds colour to our dull lives. 🤘🦊🤘

Babymetal in one word: SUPREME! I have been listening to all sorts of music since the 60's and no other band affects me like BM. I've been with The One for 10 years and that is not going to stop......EVER!. Even if BM decide to call it a day, I still have everything they have done so far to keep me going. And as far as their music goes, and has been told by commenters countless times, expect the unexpected, always.

One word: "EDM" - Egyptian Dance Metal 🤣. Go for a long drive at night with this song on full blast - You'll feel the vibes as you break traffic laws (J/K, don't do that 😆). Babymetal always pleasantly surprises me with their style. 🤘🦊

Pretty sure this is the album audio over a live vid performance. I was not a big fan of this song at first, and like you guys, I was expecting a heavy riff drop at some point given the song title, but it never came. Having said that, I watched a few fan cams of actual live performances of this song and like always, it goes so much harder live. I do appreciate Babymetal's constant pushing on the boundaries of metal, and this is definitely one of those tunes...very unique, and Su's vocal style on this song is spectacular.

If life was a video game, then Babymetal would be that one "side quest" that totally hijacks the playthrough, and this song would be the OST. 🤣

One word for Babymetal, for me, would be 'Excellence'. Everything they do seems to be refined and worked up to be as perfect as it can be, from every angle. The ladies themselves, the Kami, songwriting, stage and lights, choreography, costume. The quality is so high across their entire discography.

⚡ 💕 / 🐪 🧿 🐪 From 2023 PMC VOL.27. SU & MOA DISCUSS THE SONGS OF THE OTHER ONE. (English translation by funnytoss) PMC Magazine: An armored knight appears amid a smoky haze. The song features tribal rhythms interwoven with captivating melodies as if it narrates a fable-like story. SU-METAL: I love this song too. MOAMETAL: “METALIZM!” I love this song so much. SU-METAL: This is the most chaotic song, and it’s rather difficult to understand, playing the role of “what the heck is this?!” on this album. Though I really have no idea how to describe it, I can’t wait for people to listen to it. It will definitely blow people away when performed live. MOAMETAL: The song itself is good, but I think it’ll change significantly when performed with choreography and live music, so look forward to seeing how it turns out. I wonder how hyped the audience will get at this song? SU-METAL: Right? We’ve never had a song like this before, so I wonder how it will turn out. PMC Magazine: It’s got a Middle Eastern feel to it. SU-METAL: That’s right. It’s another new and unique element we’ve added to BABYMETAL’s repertoire of skills.
