Great reaction, this is such a beautiful song. They played the last night of their US tour yesterday and Su had her own phone with her on stage to film the audience when she asked them to take their phones out - she even got a selfie with Moa and Momoko and the audience all lit up behind them while she was humming the melody.📱🦊

great content Tim-Metal, they have done this song at every show this year so far and the part with the lights was a joy to be a part of. Last night in LA was the final show of the BabyKlok tour and during this song SU had a phone of her own to take a selfie with the crowd, it was quite beautiful.

Having seen them perform this live Su gets genuinely emotional every time it gets to the part where the crowd turn on their phones ❤

Thanks Tim, BabyMetal is not my complete cup of tea but in no way does that diminish my respect and admiration for these amazing talents. Would I go to a BM concert, fck yeah, the dynamics and entertainment value are off the charts, cheers 👍🍻

Since their restarting in April of this year, BM has been touring the world with an incredibly hard schedule. Catch one of their shows in your home town one day. Thank you from Japan!

Thanks Tim! I’m glad to see you haven’t forgotten the Ladies that led me to so many Japanese bands. They still remain my favorite to this day. I never thought my respect for these women could get any higher until this US tour. Six weeks on a tour bus with concerts in a different city nearly every night and never failed to impress. Thank you Babymetal and please get some well earned rest before heading back to Europe shortly. ❤️🦊

Great reaction, thanks! You are totally right. I've experienced that scene in a 17.000 seats arena, in a front position, and that was really amazing. More newer stuff on the heavier side: "Believing", "MAYA" and "Divine Attack" (ideally live versions). 🤘🦊

Welcome back to BabyMetal's metalverse 🦊🤘🌐 Thanks for coming back with this suggestion. You can see this song got a magical moment with the fans and they did it every time in each one of the live concerts at The Babyklok Tour making everyone light up this dark world, although at Louder Than Life with so much light during the day and out of the open field they just ask people to wave their hands lol The new official member is MomoMetal (Momoko Okazaki). Next suggestion: - MAYA live at PIA Arena MM 2023, I think there's a safe version at "The Foxhole". Kitsune up and see you next time.🦊🤘🔥

I adore this beautiful song - great reaction! (there's two other versions of this too if you really like this - and the lyric video may give you some idea what the song is about). Keep it up (you'll probably find there's quite a bit of early/mid period stuff you've missed btw 😉)!

Nice reaction👊🏽⚡️Su is an amazing front woman. The queen🦊🤘🏾
as a fellow old timer with what seems to have a good bit of overlap with you musical sensibilities, i know what you mean by "good, but doesn't grab" with some of BM's songs .... let's see if this helps: >Road of Resistance - Live in Japan . since you like crowd participation, this one is likely to knock your socks off >Metal Kingdom >Divine Attack >Distortion >Headbanger (I'm super partial to the "Moabanger" version, for an extra special treat) Also, the "The First Take" piano version of Monochrome will absolutely melt you (turning on CC/subtitles is a must ... the "turn on your lights" portion of this live version will make a lot more sense once you understand what the song is about) BxMxC is also really fun. normally, i'd not like that style of song/music (the song is about having an epic rap battle over being able to push through the boundaries of musical genre conventions -- very "meta") , but Su is just SO F'N GOOD that i can't help myself. sound-wise, i like the live version better, but the video concept is just so cool that it's hard not to recommend that one. anyway ... keep on rockin'

Cool, they're on the list. I've heard RoR a ton and I've heard the regular Headbanger too, but not the Moa version.
