Good honest reaction and good effort with the pronunciation. It means Big Operation Beg Dad For It. They are using all their girlish charms and all the tricks they can think of to get Dad to buy them ALL the shiny and delicious things ... and if Dad won't stump up the money they'll get it from Mum behind Dad's back. Who could deny Yui and Moa all the money? 🤑💰💸 There was a time when the fans would print BABYMETAL banknotes like the currency of the country they were playing. Wads of notes would get handed out in the queue and they would get fired up into the air during the "one for the money, two for the money..." section. The red coats were a one-off special for Legend 1997, they usually wore skeleton hoodies for this song. This is Black BABYMETAL's take on Nu-Metal. Not only was there a sample of Fred Durst in this, Moa once said in an interview that the first time they saw Limp Bizkit and they played 'My Generation' she thought it sounded familiar - then she thought it was a tribute to 'Onedari Daisakusen' ... and then it dawned on her that no it was completely the other way round.🤣 Su-metal provides the spoken and whispered backing for this (on backing track), but apparently she did appear on stage one time playing the DJ ("Su-metal in da house!") - sadly there is no video for that, an audio recording does exist.

Fun Reaction! Always great to see an appearance by the headbanging cat! 7.7 is a perfectly cromulent score for this song, certainly no complaints about it here. Regarding Moa's hoodie, I think it had a mind of its own and kept popping up on her, maybe from her headbanging. Actually a little surprised to realize you hadn't done this one yet - the 4 Black Babymetal songs are Onedari Daisakusen, Song 4, GJ and Sis Anger - haven't gone back through the archive to confirm you've reacted to the other 3, but I could of sworn you had... but I can definitely understand Song 4 being the most memorable of the 4.

Song 4 was written by Yui and Moa themselves so I think that drives a lot of the energy and passion in that song. There is no doubt they were so very proud of that song and it came out in their performance. OD is a fun song and the crowd does get involved in it but it wasn't really shown here. I've heard the stories of fans throwing fake money in the stage during OD.

The song is still one of our favorite Babymetal songs, like the other Black Babymetal songs (but only with Yui, without Yui we don't want to hear Black Babymetal). Sis. Anger wakes us up every day, the song always manages to wake you up, even when you're dead tired. The great strength of Onedari Daisakusen lies primarily in the lyrics, we love the lyrics. We once saw a reaction to this song in a version with translated subtitles from a woman who was really annoyed by the lyrics. She couldn't believe what the two cute girls were singing about. That was very funny.

Good one DH! Also, did you catch it? After the “…Money! Money! Money!” part, there was a “FLY!!” That was a Fred Durst voice sample, 😂. This has to be the most adorable “Limp Bizkit” song, hahaha. 7.7 is a good score. This was just a fun song, but definitely not their best. I do however, absolutely love this performance because Yui and Moa were just dangerously adorable in this one haha. 🤘🦊

For me personally, this song is one of my favorites, but that's because their "Operation beg dad for money" would have been successful with me even after a few seconds - I mean, who could deny these cute girls even one wish? 😉 But yes, in terms of performance, "Song 4" is the better song, no question about it.

Actually that is one of the few songs by Babymetal where you need lyrics. What you see there is 2 13yo girls singing about strategies how daughters are able to get more pocket money from their fathers.

I had 6.7 in my head, 7.7 is great! Thanks for an honest reaction/review. The song topic (begging dad to buy stuff) is just a good fun song, something the crowd can relate to. The lyrics, if you can find a translation might alter your score a little higher. Moa also performed this song solo (with dancers) later on, as with other Black Babymetal songs, doing both parts after Yui left, A treat for those who like that song, otherwise the songs would never be performed again. I don't think they perform Black Babymetal songs now, they have a ton of songs to choose from now. It's always a treat when they bring back a "classic" song.

I love this track, which is weird for me because i really don't love Nu-Metal, but this is just incredibly fun for me - and it's been for 10 years now. Black Babymetal songs are just a blast (GJ!, Sis Anger, Song 4). Great reaction and review, love the fact that you're honest and fair.

This song is about girl acting all cute to try and extort money from their fathers to buy stuff for themselves :D Did you notice the Fred Durst sample from Limp Bizkit? This is basically BM homage to Nu Metal! Fair points and fair score! This song though has few parts where the crowd knows when they can interact and jump themselves! It's true that the girls didn't ask for it this time!! This was a christmas special version of song, that's why they were wearing the red dresses! Never thought I'd hear this song again. Fair score, but I would have agreed if it was lower. Not my favorite track, as always gave me a bit of a migraine. Just my opinion, so don't shoot me lol. In contrast Catch Me If You Can from their 2015 MetRock performance is a beast. I provided a link below and is a complete rendition with the Kami Band from their 2015 performance. This one is hard as f*** to find a decent performance from MetRock. This is probably the best one available but it has an annoying watermark present to help curve copyright issues. You can see enough to react to though. If anyone knows of a better source feel free to mention. This song was so fun live.. we had fake BABYMETAL money printed up to start tossing in the air during the "One for the money, two for the money, three for the money. Money, money, money, money" section in the breakdown 😅 This is a song we likely won't ever see live again, due to the nature of the lyrics. We've not had BLACK BABYMETAL since YUIMETAL's departure anyway.. but the lyrics for this song are definitely from a kids' perspective. It translates "Operation Beg Dad For It" and is all about our girls trying to seduce dad's will into buying all they want and give them money, such a powerful message, don't you ever dare to denied and surrender to Moa and YuiMetal desires lmao Song got nu metal elements and you can even hear Fred Durst shout from Limp Bizkit band right before the breakdown just the moment you pause the clip. Btw YuiMetal used to be a fan of Limp Bizkit as well MoaMetal, she discovered one day they play similar songs like this one, isn't it kawaii ignorance? The main plot on BBM song is about them challenging themselves to rap while leaving a social message. This is one out of four songs with only Yui and Moa playing these songs under de name of "Black Babymetal", meanwhile SuMetal is taking a break and she also got her own 4 solos to let the girls rest when she's performing alone. This was live at Legend 1997 SuMetal's birthday, the same show you can see Gimme Chocolate official MV, Babymetal Death and Headbanger!! as well Akatsuki Unfinished Version and many more songs, the full concert is a blast, they're wearing Christmas costumes especially for this occasion since it was recorded in December very close to Christmas Eve. You got also this song with MoaMetal solo making a comeback along with 4 "baby-foxes" guest dancers (three of them recently part of the new Metalverse group) at 10 BABYMETAL Years Budokan 2021. Black Babymetal songs and MoiMoi chemistry gave us so much joy. Some fans are waiting for a version with MomoMetal but like always OTFGK. They recently released the live version of the 2019 collab along with Tim Henson & Scott LePage called Brand New Day, not only that they played this together once again at Graspop and everyone loved it. Looks like you were way off in your prediction about BABYMETAL fans reaction to your score. Some of us would rate the song higher, and some lower, but I don't see anyone thinking your score was unfair. I would disagree about the crowd interaction. That's not something I want to see pushed on every song. It would weaken the impact if it happened throughout the set.

Maybe bcs u didn’t know the real meaning of the song. It’s a parody of the Jpop industry and how agencies manage their groups/ fans dynamic! "Onedari Daisaku" is often interpreted as "Great Begging Strategy," and the lyrics reflect themes of manipulation, which some link to the idol-fan dynamic where fans are encouraged to financially support idols through merchandise and events, and Idols seem like they are begging for money from their fans (many of them are really older than idols) The notion of older fans supporting young idols is a known aspect of idol industry, This dynamic has been criticized!!

For some reason Babymetal community in general prefers OD to Song 4. But I’m with DH here - Song 4 is much better than OD in my opinion. Mostly because Song 4 is a thrash metal song, and OD is… whatever kind of metal it is.
