I love how genuine and honest you were with this reaction. And I agree with everything you said. Let me add a little fact which blows my mind regarding this. "Syncopation" sounds so good, so current, so amazing. And yet it was first released in 2016?! I do think there seemed to be even a little extra fire in this version though. And the Kami's just blew the roof off the joint. Ahhh, but what do I think? I think I love Babymetal and I think you're doing a great job! p.s. Good reaction, this is also one of my favorite babymetal songs, at least top 5 Syncopation is one of their most underrated songs since the song only came out in the Japanese version of the album, it is not a single, dont have a music video and they don't play it very often in their concerts like other songs. Let's see what your next "favorite song" is. 😂

Great reaction ... and an absolute favourite BABYMETAL song? Well, I have at least 30 of their songs in my top 5.😁 'Syncopation' was only on the Japanese edition of the second album, the international edition had 'From Dusk Till Dawn' instead - they are so different from each other but I can't separate them with which I prefer ('From Dusk Till Dawn' live at Budokan 2021 if you are curious). I was at Brixton, London in 2019 the first time they played' Syncopation' live outside of Japan. We couldn't believe what was happening when the heartbeats started sounding, the whole crowd went wild. It had never been released outside of Japan. Su-metal said how surprised she was that everybody there somehow knew the song.

Great reaction, thanks! Don't worry, you MUST be excited about this one and speechless is a totally valid reaction to this wonder. Definitely among my favorite songs, I actually consider "Syncopation" their best one overall, once I put aside my personal biases and preferences. The whole piece is just perfection and I'm in love with the ending with that tasty solo and then the drums leading to the end. We need to thank Norikazu Nakayama (aka Norimetal) for composing this. Also I discovered recently that he's behind practically all my favorite BABYMETAL songs. And it's not a coincidence. I just finished watching the Blu-ray of this concert, Legend-MM 20 Night (it arrived yesterday) and I have to say that it's as good as I remember from experiencing it live in person. I'm watching tomorrow 21 Night and these shows are called to be my new favorites till date. 😁 Until next time! 🤘🦊

I will never stop glazing norimetal, his composition is somehow absolutely flawless but never soulless. Like you'd expect something with that level of perfection to feel generic or at least a bit stiff but they all have so much creativity and raw emotion.

Syncopation is one of my absolute favourite Babymetal songs, so I was unbelievably hyped when I heard it start at Legend MM. I had been wanting to see it live for a long time, and I finally got experience it and it was even better than I hoped it would be. It's such a banger song, I just wish they would play it more often.

Think we will hear it more. Koba has had time to realize that this is a 100% a fan favourite all around the globe and that's why they brought it back in their recent return. Syncopation will definitely be kept in the rotation eventough I wouldn't expect it at every concert because of the many hits/singles they have to fit in nowadays such as GC, PPY, Headbanger, Monochrome, RoR, Metali and now even Ratatata... It's getting increasingly easier to bet on any given upcoming setlist (unfortunately I'd say)

💕 ⚡ 🍑 / 🎶 💕 'Syncopation' is a killer, high energy track. Pretty much a flawless blend of guitars and vocals. This is what producer Koba said in a 2016 interview: Q: Of all the songs in this album wouldn’t you say that ‘Syncopation’ has the most Japanese feel to it? Kobametal: Yes, I would agree to that. And that is why on the overseas edition we put a different song in its place. On the Japanese edition we wanted to present an ever more Japanese quality to it and so this song was included. On the overseas edition in place of ‘Syncopation’ we have instead included the song ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’. (Of course as it turns out, Western audiences love this song as well.) They've never performed this song in the USA, but I did get to hear it live at this show in Yokohama.

Haha good one. This is an older song from their 2nd album (Japanese release). Spoiler alert: just do their entire discography, it’s all amazing lol. Also, if you want something truly technical: *Tales of The Destinies (Tokyo Dome 2016).* It’s so prog that Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater gave it his personal thumbs up. 🤘🦊

Watch From Dusk Til Dawn (Budokan 2021) and you will change your mind as to what is the best BM song:) As Rondo of Nightmare is the Masterpiece of BM's early era, FDTD is the masterpiece of their new era. Just my opinion.

Syncopation might be my favorite BabyMetal song. But that changes every 10mibs when I hear another BabyMetal song. Their discography is that good. It goes from Syncopation to Kagerou to Rondo of Nightmare to Akatsuki to Headbanger. 😂

Our queen and princesses are undecided if they are really in love, like a syncopated heart. Syncopation was the song exclusively for Japanese album while "From Dusk Till Dawn" was released for International version of Metal Resistance (of course that's my next recommendation), although later on they performed this song outside of Japan because is a blast with more rock sound rather than metal. Along with Karate, is one of those songs many fans got that anime vibes, for me Karate would be the opening and Syncopation the ending, although it works like an opening too. Till this day those were the only BM songs with that anime vibes for me, but after the new single Divine Attack - Shingeki came out now i got three songs lol You can also enjoy the live version at Tokyo Dome 2016 and one of the Five Fox Festival in 2017 when YuiMetal was still there being her last year and months with the group is kinda rare reaction nowadays since usually many reactions are with the avengers (2019) or with MomoMetal just like they did here at Legend MM in March celebrating her special 21 birthday. Also the East Kami Band playing unlike here with the West Kami Band. Generally I have no complaints at all with the Western Kamis, but this song suits the Eastern guys a bit better, their sound is a little crisper which I think fits the style of the song better, but that's just first world problems lol

too early for you to say this is your favorite because next time you will say the same thing. to me what i love about Babymetal is that there is no bad song. i might like some more than others but there is no filler songs like most bands have. how many albums have you bought becaus eyou liked a particular song and then find out the whole cd is filler except the one you liked. only song i can't listen to is a callob with a rapper because you can't even tell it is them.
