Nice one, thanks! "Syncopation" is a great song, actually one of my top favorites. Underrated in my opinion. The guitar work is so amazing with a clear contrast between the solo parts with high notes and intricate melodies and the verse parts with very tuned down hard riffs. The final solo part is just a masterpiece. Since you stopped it in the middle, you may need to listen to it again carefully :) Until next time!

Excellent video, as always. I’ve hardly had the time, energy, or motivation to watch any BABYMETAL reactions the last few weeks, but I always make sure to watch your videos as soon as possible. Keep up the good work!

Awesome song, great reaction... I liked Syncopation from the first time I heard it, but it's become easily one of my top-3 BM songs, I absolutely love it.

Arguably one of the most groovy BM songs, that riff is hypnotic 🤩. Released as a Japanese exclusive, they played it live even abroad on few occasions. The choreography is as cool as the song itself, definitely among my top BM songs. 🤘🦊⚡

Good reaction again - I hope you enjoyed your break. 'Syncopation' has only been played live outside of Japan once to date - that was in Brixton, London in 2019. None of us there could believe what we were hearing when the heart beats sounded at the start. For her part Su has said she was surprised everybody there seemed to know the song as it was a Japan exclusive track and hadn't been released internationally.

Great reaction! Syncopation is one of my favorite BABYMETAL songs. This is my personal interpretation of the song ... (As just a idea) The first intro dance pulling back with its arms spinning vertically seems to be an expression they are rewinding into their past. It's like rewinding a movie film tape. ① Feelings when they first heard METAL (like, dislike) ② They gradually feel intense emotions in METAL's music. ③ They wanted them to spread BABYMETAL's songs to the world along with singing and dancing (FLY). Or they decided to do so. In fact, they would have been initially worried about singing METAL. At the same time, they realized the greatness of METAL. And now, they have fulfilled their dream of drawing a performance at BABYMETAL's night live on stage all over the world. I feel somehow nostalgic feelings and melancholy in this song despite the speed and intensity.

For all the talk about "sounds like anime music" that people some times say about any japanese music, without understanding that is anime music that sounds like modern japanese music and not the other way around, i do think that Syncopation would be a great song for the Macross franchise. It is heavy but dancy, it fast, it give chills and then there are the lyrics, it fits perfectly for the themes of Macros with so many love and "flight" references. It is easy to imagine scenes switching between a concert with syncopation and a battle with the valkyries variable fighters happening at the same time as it is common on that franchise.

This was a Japanese exclusive on Babymetal Metal Resistance Album. International Edition got From Dusk Till Dawn. Easily one of my favourite. For FDTD its more futuristic synthesis, that's how I feel. Syncopation feels more like Japanese Rock or JRock like XJapan. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬

I love watching your Babymetal reactions, but I REALLY wish you would have watched their performance of this from Tokyo Dome (Red Night) from a year earlier instead. The girls were ON POINT the entire show, and the energy was so intense. It was a great show, great stage, great camera shots. It was just generally a fantastic show.

This is my favorite song. After knowing BABYMETAL and listening to almost main songs from the first to the second album, I met this song and was shocked again. As you say, the intro is like fast and intense like power metal, but into the first verse, it calms down and has an intonation like old Japanese pop rock songs. I do not like power metal so much to be honest, but I like such songs having an intonation even though the tempo is fast. It is very thrilling, but I am surprised Su-'s vocal pitch and timing are accurate, and I am wondering how she is breathing. As you say too, I think the lyrics are singing a crush like a faint first love. Yui & Moa's "like or dislike ..." is a chorus like a flower fortune-telling, ha. Originally, this kind of content will become a sweet love song, I think, but with a heavy sound and Su-'s straight vocal arrangement, I think it is a song that will bring new excitement. I think many BABYMETAL songs are a little comical but cool, however this is a serious song that is not comical like ROR or IDZ. Thank you from Japan.

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🎶 💕 A lot of singers could be overpowered by those wild guitars. Su has charmed them, and they accept her as one of their own. : ) I agree that it's a love song, although as is often the case in Japanese songs, the subjects are kind of ambiguous. This is what producer Koba said in a 2016 interview: Q: Of all the songs in this album wouldn’t you say that ‘Syncopation’ has the most Japanese feel to it? Kobametal: Yes, I would agree to that. And that is why on the overseas edition we put a different song in its place. On the Japanese edition we wanted to present an ever more Japanese quality to it and so this song was included. On the overseas edition in place of ‘Syncopation’ we have instead included the song ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’.

Syncopation is one of my absolute favourites, easily top three. The tempo is perfect, it just relentlessly drags you along with it. Can you believe that they tried to keep this song from the Western fans by releasing it only on the Japanese edition of the album? Are you kidding me, Koba?

Great Reaction as always! My interpretation of the song is them flying towards to their dreams with their metal wings. The "Like Dislike" part is like fans and haters who like them and hate them, during their second album they had many haters and bashers especially those metal purist saying they are not real metal which is crap, but hey they are a legendary band now HAHA In your face metal purists! React to Catch Me If You Can next it's a great song to jam🤟 And maybe you can do the trilogy of light next😊

Well, if you want to see Su's vocals go to a different level, you should checkout From Dusk Till Dawn. There are no official videos or lyrics to this song, and it's been only sung 3 times live (I think). this is the best lyrics video I've see of it, at least the closest to what su might be singing. and it's one of the few songs thats entirely in English. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5uWgZKhop1nr5Y Or, you being an anime fan, you should checkout Su singing Tamashii no Rufuran, which is a song from Neogenisis Evangelion.

i was about to sleep and saw your vid... well, here goes nothing \m/ As many said, this one is one of the most anime vibe song from Babymetal, along with Karate, as i like to said myself: Karate could be the opening and Syncopation could be the ending song. This song was an exclusive track for japanese album version only for the 2nd album, while in the west or internationally From Dusk Till Dawn was the track, a beautiful song and one of my top favorite, so try it if you can someday. And yeah, pretty much is about a faint first love, you girls can inmediately feel relative about that while man like me couldn't get it at first glance. Take care girl \m/ LIVINGLEGEND NOTACULT OTFGK 10BABYMETALYEARS
