I love how much of an Asa stan you are because I'm also Asa bias Rami bias wrecker lol But really ALL of them absolutely smashed this comeback and I'm so happy about all the positive reception that Clik Clak and especially Drip have been getting. It's not that much of a departure from the YG brand, but it is a huge step imo towards establishing the Babymonster girls as their own brand with their own identity instead of just following the YG formula or being 2NE1 or Blackpink clones. We all watched Last Evaluation and we know the incredible talent all seven of them have. And with every new release so far they've been setting new standards and expressing new aspects of themselves that we haven't had an opportunity to see before. Ruka has received more opportunities to shine with the more throwback style because she's been a more oldschool rapper and she really gets to show that off, plus proving why she's the main dancer. Pharita has been taking more risks with her vocal delivery and I think it's really paying off because she has such an unusual and beautiful tone that adds character to the songs whenever she comes in for her parts. Asa's rap delivery has also become more versatile and she comes across more confident. I'm also a HUGE fan of her singing voice which is so clear like water and I love that YG has picked up on that and used her as a singer more too. Ahyeon has been through a lot with all the hate that she's received for being too talented lmao but her vocal technique has considerably improved and she has better control of her powerful voice now and did you hear that high note part in Drip omg. Rami raps now! And she takes her rightful place as another major ace in Babymonster (as if they didn't have enough already lol) where I genuinely don't believe there are any limits to her capabilities. Rora has always had a powerful belting voice and her runs are super smooth but lately I've also been noticing her more as a dancer because in this most recent comeback it seems like her stage presence has doubled. And Chiquita is a superstar like you said, always has been. I think this is the comeback where people can stop calling her "talented for her age" and start admitting that she's just "talented" with no other qualifiers necessary. I hope they continue to grow and deliver like this.

Yep. I barely have time to focus on the groups/artists I really like (such as Babymonster, Blackpink, Lee Hi, AKMU and a few others). I'm sure there are other groups/artists I would like too, but I just don't have enough time to get into several dozen different groups/artists, get to know them well and thoroughly enjoy their performances. There will always only be 24 hours in a day. That being the case, it's extremely difficult to understand those people who hate on Babymonster (or any groups or artist, for that matter) like it's their full-time job. You can easily imagine the smoke coming out of their ears as they strain their little hater brains trying to come up with different ways to insult and attack Babymonster (like the weirdos who attack Ahyeon's really popular and effective high notes under some pretense that they're critiquing the technique of a soprano in an opera). Basically, anytime I see some obsessed hater like that spamming up social media with their "critiques" or see some youtuber who's playing to the hater crowd with negativity-niche ("unpopular opinion") videos...I see them as basically confessing that they are fans of a rival group and have become so envious and insecure about Babymonster as a "threat" to their faves that they end up spending more time hating on BM than they spend time loving their faves. (As for the negativity-niche youtubers, they're probably just desperate for clicks and views, have nothing of merit to say in the positivity space, so they decide to be magnets for the haters because it's an easy way to get clicks and views. )

Thanks for the fun reaction! Speaking of Asa and Rami, Rami did a "Baemon Talk" interview with Asa a few weeks ago. (It's like a mini radio show interview format that they've started playing around with. Rora also did one with Chiquita.) Anyway, in the course of Rami's show with Asa, they were talking about how one day, out of the blue, Asa got a text message from Rami simply saying "I love you!!!" Asa said she was confused about it...wondering what happened or if Rami was sick or something. Later it turned out that Rami had just heard Asa's rap from Drip for the first time and was so impressed by it that she impulsively sent the "I love you!!!" message to Asa...impulsively fan-girling for Asa. Asa returned the compliment by mentioning how awestruck she was by Rami's singing when she watched Rami on Lee Mujin Service. Rami is my bias, but everyone else in the group is my bias wrecker. Rami is like my bias among biases. But that doesn't mean that I'm not an enthusiastic (somewhat obsessed) fan of each of the other members. They're all fantastic.

Yes, you're right Drip was originally the only title and CLIK CLAK was changed to be the 2nd title track. You already watched their announcement vid where YHS said he felt they were a good connection due to both being hip-hop based. As for haters, I'm used to it as I find myself being fans of big groups somehow or another. It is what it is. The rest of the album though... you haven't looked at any previews so it will be blast xD Lots of variety.

Putting Rami and Asa rapping back to back on CLIK CLAK was such a genius decision because their vocal tones compliment each other so much and they sound fire. Korea congressman disclosed the reports of Hybe that include bad words toward other bands and artists implying manipulating public opinion. That reports mention the YG artists like BP and BM. You may know what that means. We do not need to be frustrated. BM will conquer.

I'm really good at reading criticism as i'm not that deep in fanbases, i just enjoy the music and variety content from the groups, so i don't care very much about what people talk, but after Forever and now DRIP i noticed that most of those people just hate on Babymonster to drag the group down, cause all their critcism with previous songs still the same even tho they are clearly trying new things with the group, but as they say "negativity sells" so they are farming views hating on very young girls that are just trying to come up in a very cut throat music industry.
