Did you ever run into any problems with the top of the hot plate having white spots you can't remove kind of like it's peeling??? I already received a replacement o fthe main steamer but it just developed again. I have been using a large baby bottle steamer+dryer for 3+years and that things hot plate is still going strong no blemishes whatsover, any ideas??

HI!!!, sorry for the late reply. Yes, it is an easy fix. Pour vinegar and a lil warm water to the heater and let it sit for about 5-10 mins. Empty, wipe clean, and rise. It should be back to new after that. The white you are seeing is calcium build up from the water on the heating unit. Sometimes you will also get a CALC button light up on the machine. That will also warn you to let you know the babymoov needs a clean.

Please, is it possible (like with XL version of this model) to prepare rice in the very bottom part of the station ( the dark-grey bowl in the left section )?

Yes, you can cook rice & pasta in the water vessel. It’s the 1st piece that goes on top of the water heating unit. Make sure to reference the manual to ensure that you are using the right piece. I hope that answers your question. If not let me know how I can further assist.

Where does the water go for steaming? Does it go into the tray with a handle? I'm scared to break it 😫

The water goes in the base of the machine. You will see a cylinder shaped heater at the bottom. It’s the unit piece that has the logo on it and cannot be removed. Hope that answers your question & you find it. The booklet and app is really good help as well. Let me know if you need more help. ❤️

I’m not sure if it meant for that HOWEVER! I have used it to crush ice with fruits for a smoothie and it was fine. I would use it on blend setting 3. I don’t know if it’s something to use all the time for that but i have done it a few times and nothing negative happened. Try it out and let me know your outcome. Mine was fine. Hope my answer helped. ❤️
