My dad used to put up blue or silver spruce. Not sure if it's the same one your dad did or not. I'm here in Maine but grew up in East Rochester NH. My mother only had one child, me obviously, lol, but she still had that look of fear like on your mother's face after giving birth to another baby. LOL Happy birthday Sis, Sylvia!! I'm sorry you had to share your birthday. I had a lot of friends that had to do that as well and it was miserable for them because they always got less and their siblings were kinda mean and made fun of them for not having "their own birthday." LOL I was lucky. I was a single brat and no one "shares" a birthday when it's on Income Tax day. I was supposed to be born on April Fools' day but fooled the ole lady and came out two weeks later.
