Game description:
The "game" is much like Dogz of Petz from PF Magic, but as the name suggests you adopt human infants. You have a wardrobe of clothes to cover them in, and shelves of toys for them to play with. There are also more babies, toys and clothes that can be downloaded online.
The box advertises that each copy comes with its own unique baby, which is true in that no two babies will be the same, as they change in response to your interaction with them as they grow.
Voice interaction is an integral part of the game, and it came packaged with a microphone for the purpose. You teach them to recognize you, and can teach them the names of the objects they play with.

Even though I'm 22 now, I still remember playing this game when I was 6. But I also remember how I used to get frustrated if the babies didn't do what I wanted them to do. So I would give them a toy and then take it away just to make them cry. I know that's awful... I would never do that today. If I could play that game again, I would spoil those babies rotten! LOL!

I had so much fun with this game when I was 8...I used to deliberately starve them, take their toys, make them cry, make them sick...I would utterly panic when I had to go to school and my sister stayed home, because she hated that I was a mean kid and undid everything I did and was nice to my babies...my favorite ones were named Kayly, Brittney, Mekenzie, and Micory (still remember what they looked like too) oh my god though good times lol

Nice game for kids.petz is better :-) they do more. It's fun to watch them. Especially I like ''adoption center '' realized the message years later ^^ that animals are not ours and no things to sell and trade... Always adopt, never shop..

It's okay to shop from a responsible breeder, but most people should adopt a shelter pet because they're not looking for a specific purebred :)

The clothes are in the nursery room, the food is in the kitchen (fridge and cupboard) and you can get the child at the beginning. (You can not download more children anymore, as that webpage is dead).

I'm guessing 1 of 2 things is happening: either A. The Game is outdated and won't work on a newer computer (so gaming companies please make a newer version of this) or B. You already have 3 babyz out on the desktop in the virtual house and need to "send one to grandma's house" in order to adopt another.

I used VMWare Player with either WinXP or Win98 (I can't remember exactly...).

I have a windows 10 and this works fine all I did was change the compatibility settings to "Windows 98" and then I checked the area that said "run this program as administrator" and I haven't had a single problem :)
